95% certain this is why oversoul died btw. greyice/nexus could have also wanted him dead but even if they are scum I think it would have been more of an additional reason than one of them killing oversoul solely because of his suspicions on them.

If you are town, you should have no issues claiming this. Right now my brain is speeding in all directions trying to make sense of this. It wouldn't be the first time Vi put an unrecruitable mafia traitor in her games, who might well choose to take down big game as they can since they can't be recruited.
