You can't start a hardcore server in 1.2.5. That's only in the snapshots.

He's right there is no vanilla way to run hardcore, as all hardcore is is hard+no respawns, and there is no vanilla way to set no respawns. You could do Hard with a Bukkit Server and deathbans as he said.


Also, if nobody says they don't want the fish mod of Tbone's. I'll be adding it. Izak if you can ask in the spam section of the ihoggy forums I had you register for? I would myself, but stillbanned. Just title it something like FTAO GAVIN'S SERVER PLAYERS

Kc got lost and died. I went to the nether to help him, died, tp'd, got my stuff back, then he ran into a netherrack that was on fire and stood in it and died. Then I went around exploring, Afk'd at the blaze farm for maruchan afterwards for 30 minutes, decided to farm it while I waited, got to level 40 from one wave of them. There were at least 200 there after I afk'd.

It doesn't add anything new to be generated, and it looks like pure awesome.

Also I know I haven't been on either server for a few days, I'm trying to finish two Vechs maps this week. XD

and ikr it adds nothing gamechanging (IE: Redpower, ic2, betterthanwolves, EE, etc) requires no new terrain generation (IE: everything else we have) AND IS COMPLETELY OPTIONAL AS WELL AS PURE AWESOMENESS

Yes. 100% yes.

It doesn't require anything special, we'd just drop in the mod and go.

It's one requirement, modloader, we already have cause it's built in to Forge.

Unless anybody says no, I'll toss this and the Bunyan update in this weekend and publish a new instruction set.

And unless we get any more opinions on if people want or not tbone's fishing mod, Its still on a backburner. I'm ambivalent towards it, If we do get it I might never use it, if not then I still will never use it, so I don't mind one way or the other, so its pretty much up to you guys, it seems most of you are with me in that, so izak do you have a specific reason you didn't want it, or pretty much the same mindset of me?

I don't mind the fishing mod, but I'd rather not have Metallurgy as it adds way too many metals (unless I'm overcomplicating it based on the tools image).

I'd rather we stop putting in mods now though, unless it's absolutely necessary.

Explore the Nether tunnels. That's how I found everyone's stuff. And I somehow was able to connect Isolation Island to it, even from 500 blocks of Nether away. That tunnel is hella long, though, but it's 100% ghast proof so it can't be destroyed.
