I am almost always read as town. This isn't the problem. The problem is that I get really sloppy and intellectually lazy, spam threads, and generally my whacky initiatives or stream-of-conciousness posting style gets the town into trouble. I'm trying to be a better player. Fresh slate, new account, shiny avatar, I even changed my forum skin to sepia - I'm trying to ram it home to myself that I should be playing differently. Why wasn't I "internal" about it? Because a lot of these guys know how I play. When they a see a subdued, restrained, and calculating TE posting I want them to know why. That should answer all your questions.

So, what happened to this? You said you wanted to adopt a Refan/Thor style of play. They're two respectable players with good playstyles. Why'd you abandon your goals?

I claimed weird engulfing power role that's purely fucking retarded. I can go and become a one-way lover with someone so I die with them. I've been entertaining the idea that I can use this during the day. And yep. That means I'll just have psuedo "suicide hinduragi" votes instead of an actual wagon and I can die with the day's lynch. That's not a half-bad start, kkb. Especially if your lynch list is in that order. But you need to look more carefully at Nikanor and Rhinox/Oman, I think.

Yes, but if we ever get to LyLo, either one person 100% has to trust me when I use it, both have to trust me in which case it's a regular LyLo anyways, or I'm scum. So it's not exactly a good ability for LyLo and there are a lot of 100% confirmables that are more suited for that. I'm sure that eventually I'm going to be a lynch or a kill either way so it should be brought up now rather than when I can get accidentally hammered.

The point is not that you want to die. The point is that if you are Town you are giving scum more information that they fucking didn't need. Here's a hint - if you are on the list you die. If you aren't on the list you make it easier for scum to find those on the list. It's not rocket science and that you did it as part of some tantrum and didn't bother to think through the implications means if you flip Town when the game is complete there need to be consequences ...

I'm not the first person to claim my name. And if you'll see I was trying to figure out what the best thing for me to do for town was. If after being insulted and told to claim, claim, use it now, claim, what are you waiting for, replace out, I chose the wrong thing, well. The way I saw it, they could still think I'm scum somehow even if I proofed my role today and mislynch me tomorrow. Did you not see? I asked a question in a thread Sunday night!!!!!!! And I didn't come here!!!!! I don't get the big problem. You find out who I am upon death anyway, and if I don't die tonight, but get lynched tomorrow you're going to know who I am.

If Tammy is using her ability at night could we use Hindu to confirm that she did in fact actually use her ability? She's town and uses the ability, nothing happens to Hindu, she's confirmed town. She's scum and is bluffing about the power, Hindu attaches to her, she's confirmed scum and we lynch her tomorrow; it sucks that we lose Hindu but we also kill scum.

I happen to believe Tammy's claim in terms of country and name. I don't think that they're open and shut like other people are suggesting, first our first three scum flips have all been red, but I don't believe that scum are going to be all red, there'll be one or two from some other country. Second, taking a brief peruse of the provided flavor there are some rather uncomplimentary things said about the king of Kelvas and it'd be a likelier country to find a traitor/scum aligned player in. Third, the claimed power has to be a town power but the "use it at night" crowd is forgetting that it'll be drastically harder to confirm at night which doesn't really move the needle either way while using it during the day will pretty much confirm her.

Regarding my character, it does say in my role pm something about betrayals and not being on good terms with anyone really, but that the Empress demanded my presence.

Also, Tammy, I really don't know how many more times I have to say this, but Alchemist's opinion is literally not worth listening to you. The fact that he asked you to replace out is probably a compliment. As you indicated with your conviction in going after Implosion/Nexus, you've been historically more accurate than almost anyone in this game. Stick it out and shove it in Alch's face afterwards.
