@Claus/whoeverknows: Has the map been "condensed" yet?
I'm about to go look for a sizeable area of water on/under/in/over to build my next base, and I don't want to start out in the middle of nowhere to find my area either A) next to town or B) cut during the "condensation" of the map.

Who all here is on xbox version?
Should I get PC version and play with you guys?
How much PC version cost?
I got the demo while home on lunch a week ago. Was annoyed by the tutorial and put it aside for later. Daughter checked it out and we've been co-oping a world in every spare minute.
It's like Legos on crack.
Yay the tutorial experience can be a little annoying as its hard to back out of and takes awhile to complete. You got to build what it tells you to instead of what you want. Also most of what it teaches you can be learned by playing with others, taping rightbumper for hints, or searching the net.
I did the tutorial when I first got the game so it was also useful at helping me get achievements and learn some basics, but still annoying with its obligations. Once you close or complete the tutorial process and actually explore the world they put you in, its actually kinda pretty with its preconstructed houses, barns, castle, lighthouse, and church. So I at least enjoyed explorer that
When you aren't player with your daughter you should try to play with the other xbox players. pm or post your gamertag if you are interested in that
When I joined this site, I was a software tester for mobile business applications and the song PokerFace was not yet written by Lady Gaga
Now I test lottery and gambling software as my job. It's funny how my life has turned out. Somewhere a Time Traveler is laughing madly
Where can I go to get a map of the new map?
I read something like the old ms.seion. isn't working anymore so I was just wondering if I could see the new condensed map.

Okay, since someone built a railway station in Omnomia, I decided to make the rail path for it.
The path ends where I'd like another station to go.

It's my land, so I thought I should show the scenery the way I want to.

Plus, if they want to change it, then it just means there are already tracks on the ground they can change around and put somewhere else.
Speaking of which, UT I donated like 10-12 stacks of rails to your lighthouse.

Corin is performing some maintenance, fixing some issues.
One of the issues being fixed Corin, is your not-working backup script. He's moving all the servers to a new machine, then completely deleting everything on the old machine and re-installing the OS. We'll be offline for about an hour or so.
I reeeeeally have the urge to play some minecraft. I hope I have some time tonight.
I found the
original
mafiascum minecraft thread and read through it today. It was an entertaining read
Looking through the old pictures, looks the terrain was much more interesting back in the good ol' beta days. Either that or we have a lot of exploring to do to find more cool stuff.
Also, I think I might mod a mafia game sometime in the future and I've been thinking about trying a minecraft theme. I've looked around a little bit and haven't seen anyone claiming dibs. Just want to make sure I'm not stepping on any toes before I go thinking about it too much.
