Worst role ideas?

I've always wanted to run a game with multiple cops-- one Clean Cop, two Mafia Cops (one from each gang), a Naive Cop and a Paranoid Cop-- that have their own QT.

I wanted to run a game with multiple Serial Killers.
Some can kill others with one shot only but most will need to be stabbed twice to die.
Of course there will be a lot of Townies and PRs.

That type of game would be fun up until endgame. As if only A, B, and C are alive and each one must get a different one lynched to win. (A > B, B > C, C > A) Then a 3 player end game can't end unless one player helps another and effectively plays against his win condition.

I think closest we ever got to a heavy lyncher game on MS was Lord Gurgi's heavy religious/lynch cults game. I forget true title of game and think he may have run it while using an alt account, so pardon me for not having a link

Dragon Phoenix also ran an all SK game as an April Fools joke. I can't seem to find the link for that either atm

Put them in pairs instead. Lyncher A needs to lynch lyncher B and vice-versa.

I've seen a mostly-all-lyncher game done offsite (there was also a 2-person scumgroup; the players were aware of it, but originally thought it was a single SK, because that was kind-of heavily implied in the rules, deliberately of course). It also allowed players to PM each other during the night phase (as long as the mod was copied in). The players were arranged in two circles rather than one; after seeing the way it turned out, I think circles of 3 or 5 would probably work best.

Oh, and any kill would work, not just lynches, and there were a lot of daykills and nightkills and the like floating around…

The version where you don't end up suiciding on targeting a townie is better than a VT. If there's someone who you think will inevitably be lynched tomorrow, best to dynamite them; if they're actually town, you've saved half a mislynch, if they're scum the gamestate stays the same and you're better off for knowing for sure that they're scum.

With the suicide upon targeting a townie, it becomes substantially worse, but I still have the feeling it isn't 100% useless.

Yeah, there's some merit to that I guess. But I think in most games it would be equal to a VT.
