Oh, and since they were technically two separate towns...
. (They consisted of Foxace, the MaguaofIllusion hydra [members obvious], greenknight, Lord Mhork, PeregrineV, TiphaineDeath, the Lost Butterfly hydra [Faraday/Mina, later just Mina], Feysal, Tammy, and Nachomamma8.)
Trust me, they deserve it. The playerlist in that town is almost entirely made up of high-caliber players, and even those who weren't high-caliber players were playing so awesomely that they might as well have been. Let's recap, shall we?
-In contrast to the Chaotic Good town which was largely selfish and apathetic, mostly only caring about their half and doing halfhearted scumhunting (with one or two exceptions), the Lawful Good town was incredibly interactive, with every member invested and trying their hardest to not only get their own town winning, but BOTH towns a chance at victory, a goal at which they eventually succeeded!
-It was through the direct actions of Lawful Good players that four of the six scum in the game were lynched. Two-thirds of the total scum, netted because of the actions within the Lawful Good town. They absolutely DECIMATED the scumteams, and quite frankly, there weren't enough nightkills to go around for all of them.
-Beyond that, the LG power roles had picture-perfect play--they successfully stayed under the radar long enough to do their jobs and cause significant damage to the scumteams, and the two of their PRs who WERE killed weren't killed because they were PRs; they were killed more by luck. Their play was top-notch for a PR, and they helped further the win a lot.
There are probably some other points as well, such as the fact that both LG lynched had only two other LGs on said lynch, with their lynch almost entirely driven by the (apathetic and selfish) Chaotic Good town (and with some help from the LE/CE).
All-in-all, it was an incredibly strong town, whose actions led to the double-town-victory, and that is certainly a feat worthy of nomination in itself. Their victory wasn't just given to them. *coughchaoticgoodtowncough*. They EARNED it, they BLED for it, and in the end, I'm actually surprised that I managed to survive to 4-P mylo against them, because they were that. dang. good, strong players coordinating with others, and trying to make sense of the power roles and how to best use them for mutally assured pwnage. And they did.
That said, though...the CG town wasn't entirely made up of apathetic and/or selfish players. In fact, I'd say there's at least one honorary Lawful Good, in the form of...

, same game. The fact that he was the only Chaotic Good player we, the Chaotic Evil scumteam, killed, should REALLY say something about how much of a threat he was. He became invested into the game and immediately went into "destroy all the scum" mode, coordinating effectively with the town. His reads for the most part were deadly accurate, and he was on the right track. More than that, he turned a slot which was mislynch fodder on most people's suspect lists into one of the most obv-town slots in the game, making him easily the Chaotic Good MVP of that game. Words cannot really convey the respect I hold for him. Just read the freakin' awesome game.
