Actually, I think it's worse if they can replace out to avoid it. That way it can disrupt other games much more easily.

Pun mafia?

Post number mafia...roles to include:

Prime Directive- can only post when the post number is prime and cannot start wagons (something about altering the fate of players by your hand or something- I'll let a Trekkie do a better job)

Fibonacci- can only post if the post number is in the Fibonnaci sequence and word count must be the post number*2

Odd miller/Even godfather-traitor- if the hammer is in an odd post they were a townie miller, even a mafia traitor. Investigation results by odd/even night.

The Perfect Square- Only in posts 1^2, 2^2, 3^2 etc and must include: 1 vote, 1 fos, 1 null read and 1 town read. Only.
