Mackay replaces TB. A replacement is still being sought for Erotomachia.

what is IGMEOY?

to lynch me because of chatting about other things would be stupid, don't you think? I chatted about other things with the same purpose some ppl acted agressive. though I would not go as far as to say that I did it consciencly. I had nothing to say about the game but wanted to say something.
would you prefer me being agressive instead? would that be acceptable? :)

one more thing I wanted to say. if I amd Twito would be scum together, you think we would be actig as supportive as we have?

btw now that Twito supported me, I actually thought for a moment that mabey he is a scum and sensing he will be lynched shortly, wants to drag me with him?
sry, Twito, maybe it's just my imaginatioon.

I'd like to lynch Rosso or maybe TB but I see that more experienced players don't incourage it. Maybe it's not wise.

so if I need to choose the second who is not TB I'd choose ChannelDelibird. I'm not sure why. But as no one thinks the same, the vote is not important.[/wiki]

Hello all, just checking in. I intended to read the thread immediately, but I have some errands to run - expect feedback soon though.

P.S. I haven't read any post but the first and last so far, but I'd like to say to the above poster that I concur with the "more experienced players". Lynching TB is not encouraged. :)

Hi guys. I'll check through the thread, then post with my thoughts.

And bear with me if I slip up on anything, as this will be my first game on these boards.

Right now, my greatest suspicion on chef855. The person he replaced, Varian, was awfully scummy as is, and the major post he has made so far contained some WIFOM, namely:
In my mind, if I were to place the 6th vote, it would be scummy. If I don't however I am also scummy... So for right now I hope a simple FOS: Twito should do.

I agree with Smashy, but I'd rather give chef more time to contribute to the game first. If chef is scum, he'll slip up later. I'd be more comfortable lynching someone that I'm more familiar with.

If he is going to make a slip, it will probably be under pressure. I don't exactly want to jump into the game and put the one-to-lynch vote on someone.

Then again... replacing experience, I do not have. This is the first time I've replaced someone (and boy did I pick a huge topic to come into late )

As in, go to the wiki.

WIFOM = Wine In Front Of Me. It's a Princess Bride reference, to when the man in black and Vizzini are at the table and Vizzini says one of the wine glasses is poinsoned. It's basically, would he have poisoned my glass, so should I drink his, or would he have poisoned his own glass, so should I drink mine?

Well, Twito is one from lynch, so the real question is, who's going to hammer him? I think he's town, so I won't vote him, especially now.

unvote: Rosso Carne

First: I think that everybody let B Rob off a little bit easy. The most telling quote I found from him early on was "The fight between Varian and Rosso Carne could have resulted in a miss lynch if it was allowed to continue". (a) any bandwagon could result in a mislynch! and (b) This feels like a slight assumption of innocence on their part.
His voting/unvoting of Maverick was suspicious to me also, but not because of the backing off and unvoting. It was more because, in his own words, "rewording is a distortive tactic". I'm going to extend this as far as to say that
any wilful misinterpretation
is a distortive tactic, and that voting based upon the assumption that Maverick was "asking to be lynched" was, indeed, a wilful misinterpretation.

B Rob is not my prime suspicion at the moment, though, so that can wait.

Twito!
*takes up pitchfork, lights torch*

I was pleased to see in the later stages here that a Twito wagon has formed. And even more pleased to see Serinah defending him - as the very first thing which caught my eye was his indirect defense of Serinah toward the beginning of the game. I originally had my eye on Serinah, for her extreme noncommittal stance (and for using femininity as an excuse for being illogical! BAH!), and when I noticed Twito's first "analysis" it clanged a few scum-bells in my head.

Twito admitted himself that his analyses are flavoured heavily with his own personal bias. I feel that this is a
very bad and dangerous
thing. He claims that these are for his own personal use, but these things are read publicly. Basically what he has been doing is retelling the town what happened, but with a slanted viewpoint to direct attention away from... say, Varian (I'm not sure who replaced him. Chef?) and Serinah. If it's biased, it's not an analysis, it's your opinion. Don't advertise it as such. When you're pointing out scumminess on both sides of the argument, rather than attacking one and excusing the other ("Then ChannelDelibird fosses Varian for over reacting even though Rosso had first agressively over reacted." "Maverick votes serinah saying that serinah didn’t give argument againts Rosso when he voted even though he did. Looks like Maverick is trying to re-direct the conversation away from Rosso." etc), then you can call it an analysis.

There were a few other things, a quick leap onto the Rosso Carne wagon being one (I'll admit I was too busy being distracted by B Rob, Serinah, Maverick, and Twito to pay too much attention to RC, so I'm not sure how warranted it was, but his reasoning didn't seem that great, particularly after his "analyses") after having been sitting on the B Rob wagon. That felt to me like he's trying to hop on whichever bandwagon is most popular. I would not rule out a connection with B Rob either, as he did unvote before B Rob posted his gigantic post, and then threw his weight behind the next biggest bandwagon. Also, his having been another of the players (yellowbounder and ChannelDelibird did the same - good evidence for people's taking other players' analyses as fact, I suppose, they can't
all
be scum) (...can they? :o) to misinterpret Maverick's behaviour as asking to be lynched.

Based upon this,
vote: Twito
.

Postscript: While proofreading it occurred to me that I should point this out: I am in favour of day 1 roleclaims where the player has a significant role, and their remaining alive would be a substantial benefit to the town (more substantial than simply the benefit of, say, a vanilla townie's surviving). Twito's advocating day 1 roleclaims is one thing which does
not
ring scummy to me, I think it's largely a matter of personal opinion. Stating that claiming is
always
wrong is very slightly worse than stating that it is always right, as it paves the way for ridiculous wastes such as preventable lynches of power roles. But refusing to claim is not inherently scummy, though still a reasonable indicator of a mafioso waiting for more clues about the setup before they try to choose something.

Vote Count:

Twito (8): WarpDragon, Rosso Carne, yellowbounder, PBuG, ChannelDelibird, Smashy, chef855, Mackay
Rosso Carne (2): Twito, serinah80

Not Voting (2): Maverick, B Rob

After much discusssion, a consensus is formed. A large mob pulls Twito into the official Camp Van, drives him deep into the forest, and unceremoniously dumps him there to find his way home. You return to camp, and search his cabin. You don't find any weapons in his personal affects, but you do find band-aids, ointment, and books on First Aid. Looks like the medical tent won't be staffed tonight.

Twito
(Camp Medic)
thrown out on Day 1.

It is now Night 1. Please submit night choices by Saturday, July 1st, 12:00 noon EDT.

Day breaks again, and the campers rise. A quick count shows that 10 campers have made it to breakfast. One is missing - Mackay.

You hurry to her cabin, and find her clutching a knife! However, it looks like somebody else got to her with a knife first. Could she be behind the murders? You're a little confused, so you search the cabin. After turning up a list entitled "Most Likely Killers", you realize that she wasn't behind the murders. She was just looking out for number one - and willing to bring a little vigilante justice to those she thought were evil.

Mackay
(Proactive Camper)
stabbed Night 1.

With ten alive, it's six to lynch.
