Huh?

Not sure why you would make a post like this...if you think viper's pro-town, and you think he's given some hint about his role (I don't see it, but whatever), then why would you draw attention to it, instead of just putting it in your notes and keeping it under your hat? Why would you give hints to the possible role of some other player you think is pro-town?

I don't think he's given any hints about his role, but he's said a few things that I could be reading too much into. For some strange reason I thought he was on the verge of claiming.

So just disregard my last statement.

What, do you expect the town to have a completely accurate figure regarding how many anti-town groups there are before we begin any discussion or speculation? More importantly, can you understand it was a joke, and not read too much into it?
I don't really see why everyone is concerned about it really, or why they seem to think that it's a strong indication of scumminess.

unvote; vote mlaker

I'm not entirely opposed to the viper wagon, but mlaker's eyecatching post can't be dismissed. It looked to me like a fabricated reason to join a quickly growing bandwagon.

What, do yscumminess.
I guess my sense of humor is a bit off lately...

If the role speculation was a joke it's not scummy. However, once you start speculating for real you get into "outguessing the mod" territory. I was probably wrong in making a blanket statement instead of taking a look at the speculations case-by-case and then deciding.

Jacks,

'll be away from a PC from Tuesday Morning (GMT) until Saturday some point. I suspect I'll not need replacing in that time. I may be able to turn up on the thread. It depends if the wonder's of wi-fi have reached East London.

Yours,

Jack.

Of course
I don't actually think that the Vowel Mafia is actually out there. You're either a fool for thinking I would play that way (as a strategy and logic game, I take Mafia fairly seriously), or you're trying to make me look bad intentionally over something trivial. I think this whole looking at letters thing has been blown out of proportion. Firstly, this is Day One™. We won't have groundbreaking evidence or expert analysis of our game situation for some time. Our options are fairly limited to clearing out deadwood that won't be helpful later (and I think this is the reason for the Viper wagon) or lynching someone who overly acts suspicious in one way or another. If we're just lynching to clear out unhelpfuls, I'd personally rather put Max away at this point, though Viper isn't giving me any reason to want to keep him around either.

Thanks to the time missed from MeMeMeet and an upcoming vacation, mlaker has requested replacement. Bogre will be taking his place.

I still don't like Mlarker's early scummy looking vote for viper, but I'll give his replacement a chance to respond before I push that bandwagon any farther for the moment. For now, I think I'll vote Max, for trying to get several people lynched for making a huge deal about what was pretty clearly either a joke or a mostly-random vote, depending on the person, neither of which is really an anti-town activity on day 1.

I can dig a Max wagon, the Viper one has stalled anyway. Which could be an indication his scum buddies haven't hopped on, but meh.
