Tired? Hardly.

Werebear, I still feel that aiming for any of Dragon Phoenix, mlaker, or Leonidas is a mistake today. We'll probably get some more information on them in the next couple of days that will make that decision clear. Though Werebear has some points about oddness of DP's voting, it's certainly within the scope of something an actual investigator would due to throw mafia off his scent.

Mole, where d'you go? I guess I'm still surprised as people voting for mikehart. All he did was question Dragon Phoenix's sanity and truth-tellingness, which is something many other people are doing. I think I'm going to

Vote: mole

for starting this bandwagon and then disappearing.

*Hopes Mole didn't post an away message*...

Well, I have an interesting change of mind. I got to see the movie last night (it was on the Love Stories digital cable channel of all things) so everything is nicely fresh in my mind. Hooray for me!

Unfortunately, I can kinda see how the Grandfather might be a little unreliable. He starts over at least once, reads a section he's already read ... it's not until the boy gets interested that he really starts to have focus. I'm wondering if the role has some funniness to it in the first few days, or has some tie-in with the boy, before it becomes a trustworthy investigative role.

I mean, if we're going to believe that Grandpa could be in the game, it makes a little sense to me. So
unvote DP
for now.

As for Mafia roles, I think we have to assume Humperdinck, the six-fingered guy who's name escapes me now, the Albino, and Vezzini are Mafia. The ROUS is probably the serial killer. That's where I'd put the roles if I were making this game. I didn't really see another role that was down-and-out evil. I'd also say the King and Queen wouldn't make the cut if I were making roles based on the movie, since they're in the movie for all of two minutes.

Right now I'm in deep suspicion of DP for attacking me also I assure you I'm a pro-town role so
Large FOS DP
I don't feel ready to vote him yet because he could be random or not sane. Also I have heard ROUS mentioned a few times in this game.Sorry if this is a dumb question but who is the ROUS?

Although I think mikehart is pretty guilty, I'll have to
Unvote:mikehart
to get mole to talk. Lurkers are as bad as scum and we need to weed them out every time we realize we have any.

Mathcam, I would like to hear your opinion on the mikehart thing, if possible.

Mlaker, that is pretty crappy logic you used there. You basically say- Everyone vote for DP, he says I'm mafia and I say I'm not, so let's lynch him!

On a side note, this game is pretty fun, even though I do not know much about the theme.

Uh, mathcam and Someone... what's going on?
Why are you starting a mole bandwagon again? We already did this, on page 7 of this game, and he claimed and passed the townie clue test on day 8. Someone, have you forgotten this already?

my last vote was a modified OMGUS vote, but I see nothing wrong with it.

Also, when it comes to mafia, what about Humperdincks' guards?

I'm saying that I half believe Someones claim but I know he isn't sane if he is the Grandpa.I'm not saying to vote him either Someone. Also mole seems absent in other games he's in so he could be gone and just forgot to say he's going somewhere.

I don't think generic Mafia is in the cards. I mean, it's possible, but when I think about Mafia in general, I think about a Godfather sending out his henchmen to do the dirty work. It pretty much mimicks Humperdinck's sending of Rugen (finally looked it up), the Albino, and Vezzini to do his killing. There's no one else really featured prominently in the movie that acts in this sort of role. If Yellin is in this game, he's the last one, even though he doesn't do any killing and is really a big chicken. :) I guess that would make 5 which is a nice round number for Mafia ...

But, that doesn't really help us determine who's Mafia, or why the Clergyman could protect himself from one death ...

Hm. This is in my notes, yet I apparently disregarded it anyway. Um, undo.

Unvote: Mole
.

I'm not totally convinced by the argument, but it's certainly good enough to get my vote off of him for now.
Mathcam, I would like to hear your opinion on the mikehart thing, if possible.
In short, I find mikehart very hard to read. His posts are short and all somewhat similar. I don't find it that suspicious that he went after DP because

a) There
is
some suspicion around DP
b) Other people were doing so as well.

Of course, any of these people could be evil and trying to get a cop lynched, I just don't find him any more suspicious than anyone else.

Well
unvote:mole, FOS:mole Vote:mikehart
. I guess Cam's right...sorta.

I guess lurking might not deserve a vote...but as long as we have a almost-confirmed innocent we should try to exploit that, and having him silent is not doing that.

I think Mikehart is as good of a target as anyone, he is looking very guilty in my eyes.

Inevitably, somebody is going to get close enough to the required votes to role-claim. Why aren't we pushing mlaker into that position?

We are not doing this because we have no reason to suspec him of being mafia. Many players are more suspicious then him and I see no reason to pile more votes on him simply because it would be easier to do.

Honestly, I see no real reason to vote for anyone in specific at the moment, but I do NOT want to see the day end with a semi-random bandwagon on Day Two... that's just silly. We'd be better off testing DP's sanity by attempting to lynch someone he's found as guilty first, like we tried to do yesterday (Leonidas has proved his role's ability, not its allegiance).

I still think that mikehart is the most suspicious of anyone.

What mikehart did was
A) try to expose the kid when there is no reason to do so.
B) Saying that granpa is probably sane when there is siginificant reason not to.

Now, I was going to type up a huge post saying exactly why mlaker was so guilty, but I think I have got a plan here.
Tell DP to investigate me tonight
If

He gets guilty- insane
He gets innocent- not insane

That way, we will know if his readings are reliable or not. What do you guys think?

Well, it doesn't
have
to be me. It could be any one else if you have more evidence that they are innocent then me. I'm just saying that I am a good canadate because there are three people somewhat verifying my role-claim.
