*edited before posting* Let me rephrase that. You didn't read my post carefully. His power role claim could have been to some extent confirmed or disproven by having him ask questions we decided on and seeing if the answers rang true. Irrelevant now, cause he's toast.Yamahako wrote:
He is in no way confirmable. You're next on my list - I've got role information that says he's lying, his claim is bogus but there is mafia strategy behind it, he had 8 votes on him to make him claim what he did to create WIFOM. This is as good a first day lynch as you can get.MrBuddyLee wrote:meh, I think it's dicey to lynch a claimed confirmable power role. I find karn's random vote bizarre because you'd think a cop wouldn't do that to someone he cleared. can't make up my mind on that situation, so i'm erring on the side of caution and asking questions.
You may have mistaken my "confirmable" for "confirmed". If so, do I still get to be on your little list?dialing in mildly protown reads since 2006-

My vote on Karn stands.1-0-

vote count:
15 Kanr1 - (TSS, Spamwise, Friztler, Bascas, Mr. Flay, Yamahako, Petrojelly, Channeldbird, MMoD, Axelrod, Mariyta, Max, Machmafia, Themanhimself, Armlx)
5 Mr Flay - (Tamuz, Pooky, Karn1, Coron, Broomhead)
1 Fritztler - (Mrbuddylee)
After a day of hotly debating the pros and cons of random voting the town rally around Mr. Flay, only to then turn on Karn1, who is frantically claiming he Nineave, the uber cop. Many note a lack of braid tugging and mutter about how this is not her, a lynch will tell.
Indeed, Karnmandred is hung, go forth and celebrate town, but dont party to long, night has fallen and choices must be in by 8pm GMT on thursday.

Dawn breaks over the town, the townsfolk gather fearfully, expecting to see a massacre to have occured in the night, not so, but a few deaths none the less.
Mr. Flay is found black swollen and obviously dead, a quick and disgusting search turns up a few items that reveal him to be Mesaana, one of the Forsaken.
Yamahako is found dead without a mark on her body, smothered by the power no doubt. Her long braid marks her as Nyneave.
Dead -
Mr Flay - Mesaana
Yamahako - Nyneave
with 22 living, its 12 to lynch

My role is very simple but it has a variety of uses. Each night I can ask a yes or no question. I get a correct anwser in the morning. I'm not sure if asking that someone is scum could bypass investigation immunity or anything, but it's far beyond a simple cop role.
Last night I asked if Mariyta was scum. the anwser was no.
If you want to know anything else, I'll be happy to answer any questions.
vote MariytaThe end justifies the means.-

I have no idea why he chose me. I have no connection to him whatsoever. I'm pretty upset that he would put me in such a position. I know there's really no way for me to prove I had no connection to Karn, which really stinks. It would be a stupid move on any scum's part to try to "clear" their partner when there's a good chance they'll be voted off and seen as scum though. (I know it's a pretty poor defense, but he kind of put me in a really crappy position).Millions long for immortality who don't know what to do with themselves on a rainy Sunday afternoon.

I'm actually leaning more towards Karn trying to implicate Mariyta on purpose. He must have known when he claimed that he still had a good chance of getting lynched, and so I wouldn't think that he would allow one of his scumbuddies to be implicated so easily the next day. But of course there's a nice healthy dose of WIFOM in all that...at least for now I don't want to vote Mariyta.
I'm interested to see what Tamuz has to say today.#greenshirtthursdays-

Ok, done a quick re-read. Let me say that when a scum is backed into a corner and claims cop, they usually claim to have an innocent investigation on someone who actually is innocent. It's just safer all around. I don't see any good reason to vote marityta yet.I want us to win just for Yos' inevitable rant alone. -CrashTextDummie-

I don't like that logic. Karn1 could just as easily have picked Mariyta simply so somebody would make that exact argument, and draw the connection between Mariyta and Karn1. As it is, there are other reasons for voting Mariyta, but I don't believe this is a particularly strong one.Machiavellian-Mafia wrote:
