And lol Nero, your name should most definitely not be in there. DH's MVPs are the best ones for each faction.

Gollum, who are you?

No. Bogre would have still needed to vote correctly, although with his tunneling on me early game and such I don't think the outcome would have been different.

Heh, I knew it.

I had a sneaking suspicion there was in FACT a ninja, and that Toog was seeding that doubt to Oversoul.

It also seemed obvious to me at the endgame that anyone who was honestly pro-town would have no problem putting themselves in the ring.

Did you not read my posts at the end of the day saying that I thought you were TOWN and Toogeloo was SCUM?

I was going to choose Toogeloo.

Ya, but it was too little too late for me at that point, Bogre. :\ Oh well. I think this is the only game where I can say that I directly lead to my faction's loss.

Nero, the fact that I consider you a bad scum player is the reason why I thought there was credence to you mentioning Bogre. Maybe if I had been less rash.

Days 2 & 3 really killed this game for me. The string of PR reports plus the voting mechanic really bogged the game down. If there had been abilities that only worked with combat somehow (Either during, or afterwards as a reward for winning a combat) it would have been more interesting, but as it stood it was just a way to slow the game down and get people arguing about oranges and oranges.

Yeah... players getting rewards for winning combats would have been kind of awesome. Although actually, thinking about it, the way it would have played out would have been that Mastin got power, so, fuck that. And fuck Mastin eternally.

I'm not about to get into a pissing match with you, Nero, but I guess all of your actions are infallible and I am simply a bad player. You were obvious in your nonstop tunneling of me. That is why I figured there would be at least one associative tell in your isolation.

Yeah, superbly played to Toogeloo in the endgame, although if *runs fingers down blackboard* there were a couple of things that led me to believe you were scum. First, the gestalt of your ISO was scummy, having rarely mentioned the black dragon and focused on attacking the players people already thought were scummy, in addition to lurking a lot through the first few days.

Secondly, you played WAY too back and forth on the last day. When you thought you could swing me to Oversoul, after his 'you two guys crossvote', you pandered to me, and when you thought you could swing Oversoul to me, you pandered to him. Was a smart move, because even at the endgame Oversoul couldn't bring himself out to call you scum. I just thought I saw a WIFOM trap opened up to get me to hammer Oversoul, and I was right.

For my play at endgame, I think I was a little too complacent in thinking that I'd obviously be the one choosing, and I felt I had my choice on lock, especially after Toog refused to go in the ring. That hurt me when Toogeloo flipped positions and started sowing doubt, so I ended up having to prove my case instead of just choosing it.

Still, in Oversoul's boots I think I would have picked the tracker cleared townie to hammer over the left-field possibility any day that the tracker had tracked a ninja, and chalk it down to deus ex mechanics ;) if I got burned.

I had forgotten mastin was in this game. Ahh god

At some point in this game I planned on fakeclaiming some third party guy who needed to win in the ring several times before he could leave the game, but I never got to use it.

FLAWLESS VICTORY!

I never went into Mortal Kombat once :] .

I really hated the activity in the game, every time I complained about it, it was 100% truth. It was near impossible to play people against each other when no one was speaking. I had CoolDog, Reck, Fonz, and Muffin all figured out as PRs pretty much, and scum should have destroyed town quickly if we had killed CoolDog on Night 1 like I wanted. I tried to distance myself from my scummates as much as possible after Day 1, and do as many pro-town things I could to keep myself looking town.

The mistake I made with the HTML tags was also 100% legitimately because of GameFAQs, it was just coincidence I was scum this game. I was playing another Mafia game at the time there, and the days move much faster (48 hour deadlines), so it required me to be more focused on that game, which more or less burnt me out when I got to placing posts here.

I killed Pine because I felt, given the evening to work with, he would have come around to going after me. I was originally going to No Kill to give me more breathing room in the last day.

I actually am terrible or a savant when it comes to playing scum. I don't get many opportunities, but a quick look at my wiki shows that I am either lynched Day 1, or I am responsible for scum winning the game.

Thank you for finishing the game early for me Oversoul... Though I do intend to spend the Weekend with the family, I felt the nudge to speed you up would work in my favor because you would be most likely to vote Bogre on instinct. Was a great game, and I was nervous as hell the last day.

Well the only reason it was good to kill COolDog is because the pr's worked out in such an unimaginable way. Half our team got boned by pr's.

GUYS I MADE A TOWNCASE ON BOGRE

DISAPPOINT

In all honesty, though my play was actually pretty abysmal this game, I had good reads and forced scum to NK me, which was a freaking miracle given the gamestate earlier.

Scum MVPs: Oversoul, Bogre, The Fonz

Other thoughts:

- WHAT. THE. FUCK.
- I am dead serious, every town player who thought Palisade was a good lynch EVER, is fucking retarded. That shit was ridiculous.
- This game would have been more fun if there were mechanics related to being in the ring. Power roles that only affected that portion of the game would have been cool, too. It felt like you just designed a setup and then tacked on the voting mechanic for the hell of it. The synergy wasn't there that would've made this setup much better.

Fonz, it is just a game. You take it way too seriously and are unnecessarily mean to people once the game is over.

Because you handed them their win gift-wrapped in gold plate, with coupons for free BJs all around.

The coupons were for BJs from you. Non-transferable, no expiration date. Bukakke extra, but you're pretty cheap.
