I just discovered this game today and it looks like alot of fun.

Not like the 63 pages to this thread don't speak for itself, but its it easy to just pick up and play? So if I got it and jumped in with you guys I wouldn't be just eons behind? :/

Punch a few tree, some dirt for a basic room, etc etc.

You might not hit the higher tier gear for a few days, but mid-tier stuff is fine anyway.

Check the Minecraft wiki for basic recipes and hints. There is not a lot of "leveling up" or "equipment tiers" to climb, so in terms of power, you will be just in the same feet as everyone else.

Of course, how fast you learn to build cool structures depends entirely on your imagination

or maybe you are one of those exploring types! Feel free to ask questions in the thread.

Also, we will need your username for whitelisting in the thread.

yeah as everyone else said, there is no metric really for which you could be "behind" other than how much you have built.

Watch out if you first spawn in at night - make a beeline for the nearest lighted structure or you're likely to get killed.

I don't have the game yet. I've been playing the demo and its pretty cool.
Though I'm not sure that getting the game will be conducive to my actually getting stuff done. :/

Just made an account and bought the game.

Making a username took FOREVER since Andrius, Andy, Brody, Brodee, St Andrius, St Walker, Sinestro, Calcifer, most of the things I'd do are taken. --;

I need to start playing this again. Probably after the 11th when the full release comes out and the server gets updated. I think I'm using a pre-release so I can't get on the server right now anyways.

Is the full release on the 11th going to require a world reset?
