Something similar was used in Tarhalindur's Ocarina of Time Mafia - a player who was Town in the Present and Mafia in the Future.

When you vote someone, the number of votes on him DECREASES instead of increasing. You may not vote yourself. On mod posted vote counts your vote will appear normally, however, if someone reaches normal lynch vote majority and you are on his wagon, nothing actually happens.
