I weighed the pros and cons of this all day and as the discussion keeps moving toward massclaim I decided to go ahead and out myself to scum. I am a town tracker Yos is lying. I originally thought it was possible to have to town trackers as yos said at least, that was why I was somewhat prodding him last night about what he meant by certain things. He ended up saying one thing that is in direct contradiction to my role pm.

On the other hand, if I track a town power role who's doing something and spend any points at all, then I see what they're doing.

I actually had that clarified with Zoraster during night 0 and was told I have to outbid town power roles to track them. His lying about this made me realize he was scum that was why i kept my vote on him.

That is not true, and I specifically checked with ZOraster about this on night zero. If anyone has a personal role, I track them no matter what, but I can only track the kill if I score higher then them.

Anyway, back to the point. Either you're lying, or you're confused and need to check with the mod about this, or the mod is screwing with us by giving us slightly different roles. The third one is the least likely, so if you are telling the truth, you need to go back and re-read whatever PM's you're talking about, because you probably read them backwards.

So first we see Yos claiming tracker who used one point. He “finds out what his target did” (post 398) but this doesn’t mean role action because he calls the role a “standard tracker” in 412. He means their target.

If Yos tracked a town power role, he does NOT need to beat him to track him, as stated in post 398 and later in post 412.

So, it seems to work like Yos tracks someone by spending points, in order to track town power roles, he does not need to outbid him, but in order to track the SCUM kill he needs to outbid them.

That’s how the role works.

The backup doesn't need to know the gritty details of each role to be able to use them in a halfway competent manner.

Also these weren't in the cards he later claimed were his only ones.
And the limit to 1, 2, 5, 9 makes his claimed role weirdly less interactive than others, not to mention the awkward unsureness of function.
Like if he tracked somebody with Yos' power vs lurc's power that could potentially change the course of the game.
It's not impossible on it's own but it is unquestionably weird.
