If town don't lynch wolf/scum today, we're buggered. I don't know who to trust any more. Half this group is out to kill the other half. If the seer has found a wolf, then I'm begging him/her to claim so that I have one person who I can trust and that I can work with to pin point scum. This game is doing my head in.

I am so town it's unreal. And I'm really fucking bored. I don't know what it is about this game, but it's become a major headache, which is a shame, because I'm pretty decent at spotting scum, but no matter how many times I read this thread and everyone in ISO, I can make heads or tails of it.

You're a 30 year old, I'm 15 year old. You shouldn't let this petty game stress you out. You should start playing large theme role games, they are more face paced and adventerous.

Reading over DonJosh's ISO. If he is scum I seriously doubt he is mafia...ie, if he is scum he is a wolf. If he were a wolf and Thor was town...I think Thor would have been lynched by now. So I believe they are the same alignment. Thor has expressed a willingness to vote DJ despite not thinking he is scum...so they

could

both be wolves. And of course...if DJ is town, Thor could be anything.

DJ (town) + Thor (Wolf)
DJ (Wolf) + Thor (Wolf)
DJ (town) + Thor (Mafia)

To summarize...looking over DJ I think a Thor town or mafia flip would clear DJ. And with more scenarios favoring scum Thor I would prefer a Thor lynch to a DJ lynch.

RL is kicking by butt this week but assuming the day is still ongoing tomorrow night I will see how the other's not voting Thor relate to him.

As regards CM specifically - he voted to hammer a town immediately adjacent to a now proven Mafia. On average scum tend to naturally distance themselves in voting, at least a touch, from their buddies. Therefore, due to his presence next to Fool it is fairly unlikely that CM is Mafia. Now, he may be scum, but if he's scum he's a wolf, and in the general sense of today, due to lack of being mafia, he would not be a good lynch today since he's overall less likely scum than someone else.

Thanks for the explanation, it makes more sense. I see your reasoning. But, I think that's just the kind of thing CMScum would do. She's the follower of the scum, and followed TheFool into the lynch, no matter how obvious it was.

Hey, if I'm wrong, then you're welcome to mock me all you want afterwards. But it's not only the fact you've led two townies to their death, it's also your attitude right now that grates me. If I was about to be lynched today, I'd be kicking and screaming and doing everything in my power to stop it. But hey, that's just me.

The core flaws in your read are right here.

1. It's scummy to be calm (?)
2. Thor was calm when scum...I have no idea how he reacts when town (hint: calm) ...therefore he is scum now.
3. I would be freaking out, lack of freak out equates to scum because clearly the way whisper would react is the way any town in general would react.

None of that makes me scummy in any way, shape, or form.
