It's possible, but it requires something special in terms of balance. I do remember seeing a game that ran on "Insanity", normal PRs gained Insanity when they used their abilities, the SK gained it when he didn't.. if you hit certain levels, you had negative effects.. slightly irrelevant here but I have seen it..

Not that I'm aware of, but there's no sense 2 or 3 of us doing it before the others check in.

Yes, I've only ever seen Popcorn, and it seems better than the others on the wiki. And EVERYONE should claim, even if it's just repeating their claim - we've had too much fake claiming already.

I've seen a list agreed on prior to the claims, and just running down that list. Thought I'd ask on the offchance I'd have to prepare my own list for it.

I don't think that can be better than popcorn.

With popcorn, suppose for a moment that you were scum, and I was your partner. You were toldto claim first, and you did so. You then have to decide who claims next. Now, you know most people think I'm scum, so you face a dilemma; do you make the pro-town move and make me claim, or do you leave me in the hope that I will be able to fakeclaim more effectively, and risk making yourself ObvScum?

When we fin one scum after a popcorn train, we can use interactions to find the others.

I agree, but I'm simply saying that's an alternative method I've used before in a game. Far better to clarify it at the beginning than give anyone a potential "out" by claiming they didn't understand, no?

Still don't like. Also dislike the request to use all 20 days, discussion takes as long as it needs to, dragging out days for the sake of dragging out the days causes apathy and flaking, that's not pro-town in the slightest.

I've only seen a game get right up close to a deadline once, I think, if that. It was really dragging out. Actually, the matter came up in my first game, too. Early on, I was berated because I wanted to get things going faster. I'm still not sure what the problem was.

Today might go on longer than previous Days if we massclaim, but I'll be surprised if we need the whole time.

Exactly. I don't understand why, unless there's something specific in mind, you'd ask to use the entire time. Perhaps early-on, when there's a lot of discussion and information, but at this point we're basically boiling down to a mass-claim.

I'm willing for a massclaim; I don't really see what good it will do us, but I have no objection.

I'm about done with my reread and it didn't resolve as much for me as I was hoping, so, I do have a couple of questions that I'm hopeful someone could answer.

1. For people who have played with Shotty before, does he generally play to his win condition? Is he capable of actually helping the other team win in what seems a purposeful manner?

2. In general, a day rolecop only gets results during the actual days, not pregame, correct?
