To show that Castle Bravo claiming Mafia Goon didn't make him Mafia Goon. And to show that Shotty was full of it.

And yes, I've already started on it. I did one in Cold War Mafia that snagged me scum, but no one believed it. Of course, we had a town vig so he nailed him that night, but we also had two scum teams to deal with. I'm hoping this one will be easier overall (one team only I hope), but the replacements is kind of a pain to calculate.

I neither believe nor disbelieve peregrine. Shottyncould have been trying to frame a townie who thought it would be great to turn it into a gambit, or shotty could have really found out that peregrine was a Holy SK, and claimed that result to get town cred.

I thought that Peregrine was trying to taunt Castle Bravo into vengekilling him rather than Rainbowdash. I didn't want to announce that before Peregrine could explain because I didn't want to give him a ready-made explanation.

I would like to wait for Peregrine to do the promised VCA. I'm not sure how much stock I put in them personally but I think anything that gives us more information is good and maybe others can see things in them that I would miss.

Why should we risk leaving you alive? It seems to me that if someone makes a false accusation at you, the last thing you do is claim it in some stupid roundabout way of proving an unrelated point. How exactly does claiming what Shotty accused of show that he is full of it? We wouldn't know that prior to his flip, but even after his flip we now have to deal with either a VI or scum. At this point I'm leaning toward VI, but there's so many in this game I'm starting to lose track.

Let's look at facts. Last night we lost MoI. If MoI were still alive, we'd probably be lynching/questioning his top VCA suspects.
MoI is dead, I feel there is a simple reason for this, scum doesn't want above to occur.

Looking at that, going by Silver's suggestion, the logical pool should be Vezok, Jakalope, Peregrine and Silver himself.

I'm going to ISO them again.. as it stands now, if I had to pick one immediately, it would be Peregrine. Next would likely be Jaka, then Vezok, then Silver. Silver's gave me a better feeling as the game has progressed.. and he's moved somewhat away from being a VI..

Ack, please quit leaving me off the VCA! I'm with Izak and ZeL1nK (ZeL1nK is the lowest figure on this, I think Izak and I are tied) but I'm not cleared by anything so I think that makes me purple.

As I said I do not want to lynch one of the confirmed non-goons today. Statistically we're better off looking elsewhere for now. I want a Silver lynch but I'm doing a day one reread to make sure I didn't miss anything about Zinger's meltdown and the surrounding stuff there.

Having looked back, I'm moderately content with pressure on Peregrine to explain his actions around the SK claim.. Shotty seems the type to accuse a partner of being anti-Town for the sake of them being overlooked on his flip.

Oh, and for the record. Jaka, the reason you're above Vezok on my suspicions is that you've seemed very.. neutral in this game. From what I've seen, you've went along with the crowd for the most part.. that may be partly because of your being a replacement, but it makes you stand out somewhat to me.

Vezok was.. strange earlier, and appears rather stubborn now, but makes the occasional good point and doesn't seem bothered about "stirring the pot", as it were. I'm still mulling over the comment about the Mafia not losing anything by outing an SK..

While I'm thinking about it. Is anyone bulletproof? I'm just considering the possibility that the SK's found a Bulletproof player to attack repeatedly to lay low.

See, another problem with MoI's VCA is that it dosen't take into account any of the circumstances around the lynch (and it doesn't take into account actual play, which he already sort of accounted for).

For example, he's clearing DavidX purely for being in the non-voters on the D2 andrew lynch (which included andrew + Oversoul), but here's the thing... DavidX was only in the non-voters temporarily; he unvoted when andrew was at L-2 because shotty needed to answer questions or something. As for Nero/Meransiel being cleared because of the early clump on the Silver wagon, I'd say it's not likely they're scum together, but I wouldn't clear both of them just because they were on a wagon early with someone who's already flipped scum.

Still, I could agree they're probably not the best place to start looking for scum.

I didn't realise Leonshade was replaced by Mysterio when I started reading through yesterday (just assumed Leon was already dead). This jilynne wagon early: Jilynne 4 - Pinky, Vifam, Nero, Leonshade <- needs attention. I refuse to believe that was 4 townies jumping on an easy lynch. Also Leonshade's play at the point I'm up to has been pretty crap anyway.
