Questions about my play aside, "Professor Paragon" has a nice alliterative ring to it. As long as the title sounds as good or better than that, I can settle for anything. ("The Librarian" doesn't qualify as sounding as good or better.)
I'm a little disappointed in zoraster's (on occasion completely accurate!) description of me as bitchy. Of late, the nice/cooperative approach hasn't been my first choice, especially if I felt that I had to convince someone of something. I'll see if I can work on that.
Everything you say and do matters. People will respond in ways you may never see. May those responses be what you intend.

Flow, and feeling. Mafiatica or Encyclopedia Mafioso or the like sound a lot clunkier, and don't read nearly as nicely as anything else. Professor Paragon has the history and the flow to keep it at the top of my list.
Note that this is pretty much the only thing Vi and I have agreed on in forever

I agree that anything Maf-whatever seems clunky and like it's trying too hard. I don't see any reason to try and force the word "Mafia" or something similar into the title -- this is a mafia site, we don't really need to reinforce that. I understand that there's some alliteration in Professor Paragon, but the title still seems like a pretty lame one to me. It's neither clever nor particularly captures Vi's personality or work. The alliteration is sort of weak as well. PRO and PAIR are somewhat different sounds to start the word.
I like Professor Paragon. It works. Why are we debating changes?

That's fine (though I maintain The Librarian is a far superior title), but that doesn't mean we should shut down debate on the topic as suggested by Xalxe

Sorry, not what I meant; my point was more along the lines of what Neruz said. My bad.
