This is gonna sound incredibly WIFOM, but isn't it entirely possible that they are scum and that they were aware that someone would use that logic to clear them of suspicion? I'm not saying that they're scum, but I think it's a bit early to say they're confirmed town.

Nikanor seems very random in his posts, and it doesn't inspire confidence in me.

Mego... hm. I get the feeling he's scum. Nothing concrete to support this, he just seems a little too casual and jokey. Consider this an FoS, but I'm sticking with my haoala vote for now.
