You're wrong on Andy and Candle. They should be replaced by Apok and ooba. I agree with you on the other three. I think there are four more mafia left and two cult, so I'll say the sixth scum is someone who hasn't posted much.

1. What specifically? It's all based on the manner in which Andy is posting. It feels forced and contrived. Read Blackest Night or AGM's CYS game for examples of what I feel are honest Town Andy posting. In summary I feel he's trying too hard to emulate the more breezy, carefree natural Town style Andy shows when Town.
2. I don't think it is more likely to come from either alignment but I don't think it is Pro-Town regardless. Scum are much more likely, IMO, to benefit from the massive amounts of information generated.
2a. I think 2 answers this quite clearly.
3. I'm talking about the kind of massclaim that Andy purposed - full claims with Character names, powers and flavor.
My question to you - what did you expect (scum-hunting wise) to get out of questions 2/2a?

I'm going to be V/LA from August 6th until August 23rd. I might have internet access while travelling, but I'll probably be too busy to stay current with the game.
I've checked this with the mod already so my twin brother is going to fill in for me while I am V/LA. He'll be posting from this account since he doesn't play mafia on mafiascum (but he's played extensively on other sites and is very familiar with mafia game mechanics and theory). We think similarly enough about things that it'll probably be indistinguishable except he'll be active in East Coast Time Zone and he won't know any of you.
Unfortunate timing as far as this game is concerned but I am going to be V\LA for the next four days.
I'd rather I not be lynched but if that's the case - don't lynch me until I come back - I'd like to do a run through for scum and post final thoughts ..

I just noticed the specifics of tans' claim. I thought he might have misunderstood, but evidently he explicitly gave his powers to Luthor? Not really buying it. Earlier, he was fairly eager to tie himself to ooba, but now he's backing off quite a bit with the whole cross-role-PM confirm thing. The point is that these orange guys are up to no good.

I agree with the people who think Apok and Ooba are both scum/anti-town, however, I also think Ooba might be the SK, since he claimed Orange, and I am Orange and I know I'm not the SK this time, whereas I think Apok might flip cult. I'm willing to vote Apok in the hopes that the SK may kill mafia for us tonight, or the other possible cult. Also, at least Ooba posts, Apok is lurking/coasting hardcore this game. Seriously, 5 posts and the game is 27 pages?

There are enough (three, at least) white lanterns outed already for that not to be an issue. At this point it's better to just finish up choice claiming to lock everyone in.
No, that's exactly what I meant. First, you said that you had Lex in your role PM, which means you were supporting his claim based on it being in your role PM. Then, you went back and said that Ganthet was also in your PM, thus retracting your support when ooba was very obviously connected with you (claiming to be confirmed because of being mentioned in your role PM). I do find both of you suspicious, both based on your claimed roles and because of posting. I'll respond to the other things momentarily.
Candle, I did say what made me suspicious of mastin. He was stating a lot of reads without justification. Throwaway reads, you might say. Yet, you accuse me of doing the same and call it scummy. Speaking of which, that quote from me was referring to Andrius continuing to push the massclaim idea. It wasn't a statement of scum or town intent. I didn't vote ooba merely over flavor, I voted him over the reasons I have been suspicious of him (excessive cult focus, WIFOM, all that jazz) with the flavor being the icing on the cake. This would have been apparent if you had quoted the sentence before, which read "In other news, ooba is still WIFOMing and frantically scrambling for survival." I'm not sure why you insist on taking my words out of context.
People I feel to be pro-town: Andrius, for lots of content and analysis, most of it good. inHim, miller claim is believeable and he's been playing well.
People I feel to be anti-town: ooba and tans, for reasons previously stated. Slightly suspicious of Mr. Subliminal for signal-to-noise ratio.
Special cases: Right now, I'm honestly not sure if LLD is town or CR. I highly doubt she's mafia.
