Lex Luthor cannot be a fakeclaim - Souce: Tans apparently has it in his role PM. So I cannot be Red\Yellow\Black whatever except Lex Luthor. The only things I can be is
- Town
- Lex Luthor SK
Neither of which are great lynch choices when there is a cult around.

No. I just logically showed you that
- I CANNOT be in a Mafia team (Yellow\Red)
- I CANNOT be cult (Black)
And I listed out that the only possibilities left are town and Lex SK. Also pointed out that in both possibilities, lynching me is suboptimal with a cult alive.

Why can't the name Lex Luthor not just be the name of your scum role? Isn't Lex Luthor basically Superman's archnemesis? How does that fit into the flavor as town?

Your softclaim as X of X and Y STRONGLY suggests who you and Y are AND STRONGLY suggests that Y is a role that probably does not want to reveal herself. But it looks much more like a town-town pair than the Oranges.

You got that backwards. I claimed Y of X and Y, not X of X and Y. The order is important.

So I'm unsure of what to make of his role. I believe he is Lex Luthor, but I am wondering if he might turn after D1 into another faction.

Nothing in there even suggests anything about Luthor's alignment. As far as what's been claimed, Tans has specifically mentioned a

flavor reason for a potential mechanic tie for Tans getting a power-up in future

; and from this he is assuming that Luthor might be present in the game.

The flavor behind the claim itself doesn't really make sense in that

Larfleeze did NOT give away his own ring/power

; the whole point of the Deputizing was to INCREASE the number of lanterns to BOLSTER each corps. It's not damning, but it's certainly NOT a reason to trust or clear Ooba.

I'm getting bad vibes from the whole, "Tans confirmed me, leave me alone" nonsense.

If there are two scumteams (assuming Red/Yellow by the flip) then they're already destined to lose because no way in hell two scumteams are going to beat out a town, each other, and a cult on top of any SKs/3rd parties/second cults/WHATEVER. They're already boned.
Also, if there are two scumteams I'm probably going to beat dana over the head because I don't see how that can balance.

Lex Luthor can be a fakeclaim. Lex Luthor himself can be anti-town on his own accord- Larfleeze can still be anti-town.

Maybe it's the fact that all of my scumreads have jumped on ooba, I dunno. Maybe despite ooba's flailing he made a point which somehow hit me and stuck. I dunno. I just don't feel the ooba lynch, anymore.
