First thing's first. Large games go through the pages fast. I skimmed over it, and I will probably reread people's answers. Other than that, it is pre-game, so I am pretty sure nothing interesting has happened. ^^

To waste time. Also, I like having an excuse to use my brain. I am only here because I got killed day one in the last game I played, and I have some downtime.

It is quite random. It really depends on how much caffeine and ibuprofen I had.

I am not sure If I understand this question, but I tend to analyze data in my brain until I find a practical solution. I am quite good at problem solving.

I have completed four games. my team won 75% of the time, and 67% of those wins, I had a major part in.

For Mafia? It all depends, I tend to be quite a bit more active on days I do not work. I have a full time job.

I don't figure that out until day two. Day one means I have no information to work with.

I prefer town. I like hunting better than being hunted.

I will just list what I have played as. Vanilla Townie, Busdriver, Jack, and Mafia Goon.

I find them annoying mostly. But, MS might be different.

KC/Bomberman, what questions do I have to answer?

Heh. No. Tell me the pro town reasons to self vote? There are none. If this was a Newb game, then I might dismiss it. But I am quite sure everyone in this game has had at least a decent amount of experience.

I have played (or researched) a few games. In those for games there were four self votes.

In the first instance.

This game was fairly inactive. A member of the mafia self voted to prolong the game. The mafia still won, due to general inactivity.

In the second instance.

I self voted. It was my first (well technically second) game. I self voted, because I was certain that scum would go for the easy lynch. Soon as someone voted for me, the town lynched that person. Turned out to be a confused townie. I was town, and I basically was the sole reason for that mislynch.

In the third instance.

This person got pissed off because I was hot on his trail. I think he did it to take a slot for a townie not to vote for him though.

In the fourth instance.

Actually, I guess this could slightly be pro town, but it still supports my direction. In this case the self voter was a vanilla townie. But... he had a 'sibling' who was mafia. So, he self voted to get rid of that mafia member.

So in closing, Oversoul's self vote was either an attempt to clear his name, or out of being inexperienced. But as I said, I am quite sure everyone has had at least a bit of experience.

Okay, so after reading most of the posts in iso, I have three people that I find quite scummy, due to the aura their posts are putting off.

My case against Oversoul has already been briefly touched. One, self voting is retarded, no matter what the circumstances.

Vifam. Johhog. The little asinine argument about who is online was completely... ridiculous. In my eyes it just looks like scum vs scum arguing so that when one you dies the other could go 'Derp. I was against X in the first day. I am clearly town'

From my experience when a big argument happens on day one, either one or both of the people in the argument are scum.

To be quite honest, I suck at townhunting, and those three are mainly based on gut feelings. I figured if I should point at three people for being scum, I should point at the three that look the least like scum.

Now, in large games, is it possible for there to be 2 mafia families, or is it more likely to be one big one?

One of the easiest ways to avoid suspicion on day two is to be sure you are not on a bandwagon that includes a lynched townie. ^^

OVersoul- 'How can I look more town, despite being mafia? Ah, I know, I will bus my inactive scum buddies.'
Day 2. - 'Hey guys! I wasted my 'investigation' on someone that is inactive, instead of going after one of my 'scumreads' I know I only have something like a 28%chance, but trust me guys!
Night 2 - (Scum buddy) I don't really feel like playing this game. Bus me for more town points, and secure the win!
Day 3- Hey! I found another one! Follow the Gunsmith that the mafia does not care about!
Night 3- Shit. No one else to bus. Meh. I will just say that I investigated RedFF, and see how that goes.
Day 4 - Guys. I didn't find one this time, but RedFF is definitely innocent. Oh. They are onto Ironhead, and it looks like he will be lynched. Might as well bus him
Night 4 - Bwahaha! It is time for ProjectMatt to die.

My view on a potential SK is pretty much that one does not exist. We are down a Bodyguard and a jailkeeper. We have only have had one death for five nights. Now, I can see some... like perhaps one or two overlapping kills, but as far as I remember togtfo was pretty much lynchbait. Why would two separate factions choose togtfo on day 6.

Unless of course you think that there is a bodyguard, a jailer, a even night vig, a joat, a gunsmith, and an additional doctor. Ah, and my busdriver theory.

That's exactly what I am saying, I am starting to see the rhythm of this game. When Oversoul is lynched, and flips scum, there is roughly a 40% chance that RedFF is scum. Though, rhythm says it is more likely that evilpacman is the scum.
