I think education is the best solution here. Edion, I'm willing to consider sparing you, for now, on two conditions. Firstly, do you understand why we are pressuring you in the first place? Explain to me why we want to kill you. Secondly, do you understand why the above quote is neither helpful to the game nor beneficial to your case that you're an innocent townie?

you know, i'm not sure if this is supposed to be relevent to the game but the original designer of this game was Dranko20, and to me, it seems like the kinda thing he would do, putting just 1 townie in a game this big. If for no other reason than to mess with the town like this when the person claimed.

First off, Edion is slightly new. Saying he is a vanilla townie on his first post in the game makes me think he is trying to avoid suspiscion. I'm going to re-read armlx's posts and see what exactly he said / if he hinted at being a ROLE.

Ok, here is what I found. A couple things suspiscious.

ARMLX: No comment on the Fritz = power role thing. I may have info, I may just be pullign a BabyJ b/c I have no info. (somewhat suspiscious)

I found Snap scummy yesterday. No real specific reason why, he just was to me. (wrong decision)

Armlx: Claim: Basic Townie. Bah. My role PM says something about things maybe changing tho, so I don't know what to think.

That does not match with VANILLA townie. I would assume that ment back-up doc/cop, how come we have a dead doctor and a dead police.

*Hypothetically speaking, if there were several police, why would there be a back-up one also?

Not intiarly sure right now. I find Armlx's 'maybe something later' fishy. I also find it funny Edion comes straight out and is like 'I'm Vanilla Townie' ...

The reason I believed armlx is because I wasn't told anything about my role except that I was the journalist and that I had no abilities, but that that might change. It sounded very similar to what armlx said.

So maybe killing Edion isn't the best idea today if his role can turn into something like Don's.

That might be true, but I do find it strange that Edion would leave that piece of information out of his claim though, maybe armlx was just lucky and made his claim sound genuine to me, without even realizing it.

A claim is a valuable piece of information. While it's noble to want to help the town, it also helps the scum. Now that they know you aren't a cop or doctor, it makes it easier for them to find the power roles. Role information should generally be kept secret unless you are about to die (from being lynched.... or in my case) or that you have information that would immensely benefit the town (a cop investigation that turned up guilty, or you roleblocked someone and there was no deaths, etc.) You claimed vanilla townie, which is a highly suspicious claim because it's the easiest for a scum to fake, and you did it when nobody asked you to. Sorry man, but none of this adds up into you being townly.
