Scum did have safeclaims in the first B&B, but they were pretty weak. I wasn't even planning to use mine and was just going to make up my own because it was some character I had never heard of, although I think RC said after the game that he should have given stronger safeclaims.

My role doesn't say jailkeep but the effect is essentially the same. The swarm of birds prevents action against (or by) my protected. This is not the stated case for the overarching protect...it just states that nothing bad will happen to anyone when used.

Well scum aren't ME, they don't have an incentive. They can't just go "lol fate doesnt right claim so why should iiiiiiiii"

Plus if scum attack me for BULLSHIT its easier to catch them. Sometimes its good to leave holes in your play (apparently hammering LLD was a hole that scum want to jump on, even though I havent seen scum jump on town for hammering someone since newbies lol, whatever works right?)
