Kanye made a good point about the night ending early.

I don't really see what good it does to say "let's not lynch empking now, let's lynch him tomorrow". That just makes it more likely that a mafia bookie might get a kill off of it.

Besides, from a psychological standpoint, I think empking-scum would be more likely to try to claim vig to get out of trouble (instead of some other fake claim) if he himself was the mafia bookie. Scum love to tell half-truths whenever they can. If he is the mafia bookie, then we want him dead today.

Regarding scumpking with no bookie: fakeclaiming vig basically guaranteed his death today. Note he also made the claim at L-4, though there were several others who expressed suspicion of him and it is reasonable to believe a lynch was coming, he still had the possibility of shifting the wagon elsewhere. Alternatively, he could have claimed a harder to confirm power role and had a chance of delaying his lynch beyond today. So really the only explanation I can find for a vig fakeclaim is ensuring his death today for the bookie.

At this point, Empking is established scum, most likely with the Bookie note on his head. Any smart Bookie would continually to place the note on Empking's head knowing that he would be lynched sooner or later.
