We are trying to employ a new gamebreaking strategy that we have spent the last 18 pages hashing out, but it requires full participation from everyone and we need your slot on board to proceed. We're burning daylight waiting for it and have been for quite awhile now.

I honestly think someone should summarize the "plan" for pacman- it will make this whole thing go faster...that way he can voice any concerns and then read over the thread when he has time to find out who he thinks is scum and so on...

True.

Plan in its current formis:

Once we say "go," the det/psych, hider, and hider tracker claim "PR" while everyone else claims "no PR.". These people are confirmed townies unless more than 3 people claim and we'll handle that if it happens.

Then, three VTs (or scum) step forward and say "not vig.". These three are the "lynch pool."

Vig, scum, and the other VTs stay in an unclaimed pool (vig pool) which the vig kills out of.

If you agree to go along with it, we can start now. The rationalization for the plan is within the thread.

I WAS very against it and I am still very apprehensive I mean mass claiming Day 1? but I looked over the planned and saw the possible outcomes- it is very systematic although I have found that it isn't 100% scum can manipulate these numbers if they want and it was Hoopla's plan to begin with so if she's scum I am sure she's prepared for that...but I do want to see how the claiming is going to go. I am a little hesitant though, and if the claiming doesn't go in the direction I think it should then I may pull out.

The only thing I can think of against is it gives scum a pool to kill out of as well and there's no protective roles. If scum hit the vig early, that pool becomes the lynch pool, minus outed town PRs who will obviously be picked off first. Also it will heavily diminish scumhunting, which could make lynches and the vig both inaccurate. But we'd really need some shitty town for that to happen. Hopefully these points have already been brought up and responded to. I'm in. Easy wins are good for my record.

I do agree that we can let Hoopla go next. Bit we won't just follow your list blindly, no.

Let's get rolling, I can't honestly see how order would matter at all. In the end, if there's a CC, there's a CC. Scum will have to deal with the circumstance either way.

Glowball, I know you said you wanted to claim last, and I won't argue with that, but try to check back frequently so we don't have to wait for you to claim last when you could've right now.

Notes (not a catchup post but as close to one as you'll get):
neil's post is obvious but someone had to say it (I did too). It's the most legitimate argument against this plan.
swankidelic contradicting by page 2.
Hoopla is obvtown for being the first to come up with the idea.
Amrun on page 2 seems against the idea. I don't like how for it she is now. Obviously stuff was said in between but from being cautious to being the biggest supporter of it I've read so far, I'm tempted to believe she realized it was better for her and her team to go along with it at some point.

Amrun went for the idea as soon as Hoopla expanded on it. Not sure I like that flip. Most of what Hoopla expanded on was semantics while the idea remained the same so Amrun just looks like she was waiting to figure out how threatening the idea was.

Just for the record, and this totally deserves to be spaced out in between everything else, the phrase is "for all intents AND purposes," not "for all intensive purposes."

glowball versus Amrun is pages and pages of uselessness. Actually the first 9 pages as a whole accomplish very little. Easy game to replace into, that's for sure.
I like that zmuffinman doesn't like Amrun too much either
