So, you actually going to respond to the reasons I suspect you, PeV, or are you going to just dismiss me as "agreeing with Haylen" and therefore somehow irrelevent?

Yes, I agree with specific points in Haylen's case. how about, rather then dismissing me, you respond to those points? If I am wrong and you are town, it's your job to convince me of that, ASAP.

Not to outguess the mod, but the one thing that bothers me a little about this claim is I really wouldn't expect Luigi to be a VT. A vig or SK or something seems like it'd be more approperate for the role; the most relevant feature of the character is that he, well, likes stabbing people and does so a lot. Flavor arguments are iffy at best, though, so i'm not going to read too much into that.

No, Yos, if there's a vig, it's gotta be Nathan. Luigi is plausible as SK, but I'm seeing the Largo family as the Mafia here. Four Mafia is a bit much for a game this size, so there's probably some internal Mafia politics, that would fit with the flavor. I just finished playing a Star Wars-themed game (on a different site) where there were more Mafia than usual, but they had Usurper mechanics in line with the Sith Rule of Two...there's a similar flavor going on with the Largo family here.

Graverobber as third party. Maybe some kind of unique mechanic to reflect stealing from the dead or Survivor. Shiloh is a VT role. Amber may be the non-Mafia Largo, she's the most self-interested and least...evil. Pavi may have some kind of mechanic related to his face-changing. Blind Mag is probably some kind of investigative role. Watcher maybe?

But yeah. I can't see Luigi Largo as Town, and certainly not as a VT.

Woohoo, twilight!!
Now I don't have to do all that work.

So truth time.

@Camn- big time fakeass tunneling on a question of theory? C'mon, how is that going to win you town pants? Better go fake scumhunt some more.

@Pine- trying to outguess the mod? And voting for it? You may be town (maybe), but this is why you give off scumvibes in most games.

@Yos- with more outguess the mod.
So, you ask me a question, then read what Haylen wrote, then decided to vote me based on it, when the poster himself didn't?
You'll be less likely to be outed as scum if you make up your own fake reason instead of latching on to someone else's weak reason.

@Magua- Your question went from "When", and I told you, to "Why", and you acted like you meant why all the time. But you didn't. Crappy pressure, crappy reason. Not even going to guess about town/scum since your last 10 posts have been to lynch a VT (at least address the rest of the game in each post while pursing your crap case).

So most likely town (to me) on my voters: bvoigt, Incog
Maybe town:Pine, Magua
scummy:Camn
Probably scum- Yos, Battle

And since there is always one off the wagon:
TripMyWire or the replace guy for MehPlus

If your town, you would unvote if you really believed this, since town doesn't want to lynch town.
But you didn't.
Because your not town.
Then you try to shore up that wonderful argument with a let's outguess the mod post. We'll see if that works for you.

D1 VC #7 (Final D1 VC) - The Thankless Job Votecount

PeregrineV (7): Magua, bvoigt, camn, Incognito, Yosarian2, Battle Mage, Pine

Incognito (1): TripMyWire
Battle Mage (1): Green Crayons
Green Crayons (1): Medicated Lain
Magua (1): PeregrineV

Not Voting (3): Fugitive, Haylen

That's a lynch!

-----

Determined to find the scum that have invaded the Opera, the group finally decided on their first suspect. The man was shocked that he was being accused of being one of these people, protesting that he was the smartest and toughest of them all. When he went to pull out his knife, however, the group restrained him and hanged him right there, on the stage. Turns out he wasn't dangerous after all - he just had a little anger problem.

The group of 12 had come back after a brief intermission following the death of Luigi Largo.

Well, I should probably say group of 10.

They found two bodies in the center of the stage - one male, one female. The male was none other than the founder of GeneCo - Rotti Largo. The other was his daughter, Carmella Largo, also known as the pop star Amber Sweet. The surprise came when they searched the bodies. Looks like daddy's little girl wasn't so innocent after all...

Magua -
Rotti Largo, Bodyguard
- has been shot.

Battle Mage -
Amber Sweet, Goon
- has had her "anatomy" removed.

It is now Day 2. With 10 alive, it takes 6 to lynch. Day 2 ends in three weeks - July 16th at 11pm Eastern.

If not, brief preview:
Incognito- not great vote
Yosarian- Suspicious from one post to my vote post
Battle- "Got no reason, but scum don't need no reason."

@Haylen- I don't mind agreeing to disagree. I think players may kill teammates on purpose, but voting doesn't kill, so voting doesn't count as purposeful bussing. And I have yet to see a mafia team strategy that says "Hey, bus me for town points. Here is how we'll do it...."

I was very surprised with Pine's sudden hammering of Peregrine. Yes, Luigi really seems like he would be a mafia character, but I do not believe that a mafia member would fake claim with such a condemning role, knowing that he is a bad guy and all. You based your vote solely on this idea, and it is the perfect excuse for a mafia member to get away with it: "Well, of COURSE Luigi is mafia.... oops!"

I couldn't, and still can't, see how the Largos are anything other than the Mafia in this. I figured she was going for the "Mafia wouldn't fakeclaim that role, it's too damning" defense. Looks like it produced that reaction from Trip.

Not feeling the Pine-hate; I think he's likely town. He's being pretty silly right now but town.

Sadly, Haylen could possibly be town too based on interactions with BM, but I want to see her finish that analysis.

GC and Yos2 look very likely town to me too based on interactions.

There's a nice circle of suspicious-looking people in {TripMyWire, Medicated Lain, Fugitive} with the latter of the three being mainly due to complete non-contribution. camn looks the shadiest to me of the people who were on the PeregrineV-town wagon.

Let's start with this:

Pine, can you please explain the reasoning behind your Incog vote? Has it developed beyond what you stated back in the middle of D1?

Still need to do a reread. Based off of my memory, Yos and Lain are most suspicious from BM interactions alone. Will develop this further.
"This Court has never held that the Constitution forbids the execution of a convicted defendant who has had a full and fair trial but is later able to convince a habeas court that he is 'actually' innocent." In re Davis, 557 U.S. 952, 955 (2009) (Scalia, J., dissenting).

Can't elaborate much from phone, but Incog pointing at those three (which I have no problem with in itself) but singling out Fugi, who just replaced in at the end of the day, and singling him out for non-contribution, looks sketchy to me.

Except I did that after you voted me? So unless you're a psychic that clearly couldn't have been your reason when you actually voted me.

Besides, I already said that I find MPR's replacing out slightly scummy anyway so it's not just the lack of contribution that I take issue with.

Fugitive wrote:Fencesitting and opportunistic scum if I've ever seen it.
Where have I done any of this?

As for your question or what-have-you, MPR had plenty of time to try and read up on this game when he "remembered" he was in it. Instead, he chose to just give up and pass the baton to someone else. I think that's something scum are more likely to do than town hence why I said I found his replacing out slightly scummy. Your knee-jerk vote on me makes me feel even better about it though.

Reading back on BM, what the heck was he talking about here:

Battle Mage (bolded color is my emphasis) wrote:Medicated Lain is also scum. the "digging for gold where there was none" seems to put the emphasis not on the action of digging for gold, but on the (unfortunate?) fact that there was no role to be fished. Every cloud has a silver lining eh? Nice to see another
mislynch
lined up.
Am I reading that incorrectly or is that a real slip?

The incognito votes are terrible. Battle Mage was pretty clearly trying to lynch him for much of day 1, and then when i defended Incognito, battle mage attacked me for THAT, clearly trying to undercut any attempt to defend Incog. No way that that was distancing; if Battle Mage was mafia, then Incognito pretty clearly is not.

Fugitive's incognito vote is especially scummy here, coming right after Incog voted for her. Plus, the person she replaced never said anything game relevant at all.

All of those are fencesit reads, but especially the middle one. And that's just one post.

And just to clarify, it wasn't a kneejerk or an OMGUS vote. I voted scum who just happened to vote me first. If I was scum trying to OMGUS him I'd have done it much more stealthily; none of you would have picked up on it.
