- Daystart
- Pregame, the Cop/Vig, IC/Tracker, BG/JK, GF/BP/RB/RC have to choose which role they'd like to be.
- Innocent Child (if selected) is announced at the start of D1 by the mod.
- GF has investigation immunity only to the cop.


Did town have a choice? Well, if they don't know that the cop is apparently less succesful then the vig, but that's all. Scum will have to pick Role cop just to avoid being killed by your dreaded combination.

It's really a shame hoopla, but choices don't really work. There is simply too much difference between the several roles.

1x Bodyguard/2-Shot Jailkeeper
7x Townies

- If the Vig Disabler is chosen by scum, it makes the Vig shoot blanks (essentially the opposite of an Enabler). If the Disabler dies, the vig can start shooting.
- Vig doesn't get told if their shot gets blocked or if they shoot blanks.

is it worth it? Is it going to be played that often that you'll get your meta-setup-tells?

Is it going to be a better game then the ones already played?

- Perhaps not. It's more just an assurance it will stay workable if ran multiple times, as it self balances (with the right roles).

- I think we're lacking quality 3-scum Open games, so it has a market. Plus getting the choice pregame to be something you want is fun.

I still say vanilla cop or goon cop or gunsmith or something. Also, you could replace IC with vengeful townie and make vig x-shot or something. Or even better you could nerf IC by making it a friendly townie.

Why have the vig disabler, exactly? If I draw the Vig/Cop playslot, and I know there is a guaranteed protective role of some sort in the setup, I'm choosing Cop every time.

Why have the vig disabler, exactly? If I draw the Vig/Cop playslot, and I know there is a guaranteed protective role of some sort in the setup, I'm choosing Cop every time.


But is that best play? (Tip: No.)

Innocent Child is confirmed town from the start. That means the town has one less person to search for scum.

The bodyguard can then defend the Inno from death Night 1.

3 shot vig is better than odd night vig everytime. (Too be honest though 12 players = bad in my book.)

Um Jailkeeper and Tree Stump aren't like really in the same plane. One's a fixed doctor+roleblocker, one's a VT with a little extra.

Not to do with the setup, but always relevant:
"There" = That place, e.g. "Over there"
"Their" = Belonging to them, e.g. "Their votes"
"They're" = Short for "they are", e.g. "They're going to lose"

Ok. (self balancing is a tad optimistic though). It feels slightly on the town's side, esspecially as they are the one's that have the initiative and as in any open there is little to no room for fakeclaims. But if you want a 13 player game in, this one is certainly decent.
