Hiraki I'm on the fence about. I have this sexy little daydream about Hiraki, kanye and Ethos being scum together, but there's no possible way that's true. It'd sew up the game pretty nicely and then we could all go out for pie. Sadly it's probably not to be. Oh well. The point is that Hiraki hasn't really rubbed me strongly one way or the other.

I don't think that Yos is worth voting for right now simply because I would like to give him some more time to contribute. Let's allow him to be scummy on his own right rather than lynching him because Para was awful at everything.

In other news I still like my Ethos vote. To be honest (and I've said this in Day 1 of basically every day start game I've been in, and I'll say it again here), we have very little to go on during Day 1. Pretty much everyone has said something about Ethos' alignment so we'd have a lot to gain with a flip. And honestly I'd rather lynch the guy making the most hurr-durr noise than anyone other than claimed scum on a Day1 start.

I think that the Para/Ethos voting block which is partly driven by the Mafia in the attempt to get a second nightkill, meaning yes, the Bookie is either apart of the wagon or at least orchestrated it in order to have an already established strong base for a mislynch the following day.

What part of this are you not getting? Core concept? The bookie wouldn't be pushing the lynch for the person they want lynched today. This isn't really a "let's lynch Yos today and Ethos tomorrow", it's more of a "let's lynch this motherfucker today and deal with tomorrow's reads tomorrow". It seems to me that the bookie would maybe try to set up the a mislynch tomorrow on Ythan or SpyreX if they know Yos or Ethos is town. You know, kind of like exactly what you're doing.

Predit: Ythan, I think you are a traitor, or the traitor depending on how many there are in the game. You would know who the Mafia are (for your strong scum reads so early in the game) and could easily create a situation that would fortify your basis as a town and no one would know since you would come up as innocent to the cop. The only possible situation is if the Mafia try to kill you resulting in a deathless night by either the 1 shot immunity of the traitor ability or the mafia choosing to not kill anyone.

Masons are confirmed townies when one of them dies. Now that you've claimed, if the mafia kills you tonight your claim gained nothing. If you claim mason and buddies today, and the mafia doesn't kill you tonight, we have THREE outted masons. Shit, if we have a cop they could investigate one of you tonight and we would have FOUR CONFIRMED TOWNIES. And if we have a tree stump and/or an innocent child it would be game fucking over scum on day 2.

Basically what I'm saying is that if you actually ARE masons you should seriously consider outting your buddies because it could mean instatown win, or at least significantly increase our chances of winning because a vig or cop would be able to do something useful with their role tonight.

I guess what I'm saying is that claiming 1/3 of a mason team doesn't sway me.

Plus either the scum has to spend their kills on them instead of other possible power roles if they don't want confirmed townies floating around in the game. As far as anything is concerned, we should be treating Masons as power roles. Pretty powerful for a group of people confirmed to each other compare and contrast notes privately. And thus further discussion on the rest of them outing themselves is not pro-town discussion.

Remember the list roles on the first page are POSSIBLE ROLES. What if this mason group are the only power roles and everyone else is Vanilla or scum? Then it would be very bad for them to be outted on Day 1. Bad enough Ethos had to do it.

I don't see a counter-claim, I don't see a mason saying "nope not in my group" which should lead everyone to the conclusion that he isn't lying.

As much as I respect SpyreX's ability to read alignment, I don't think Chair is a sexy enough lynch right now to justify wasting this entire day of juicy juicy drama on him. We should probably go for someone who's scummy AND has gotten a lot of attention. You know, kind of like Parabollocks. I put off going for that particular lynch because Ethos was acting scumtastic, but I think it's time to start pushing it again. If we can get Derp Squad Omicron behind the lynch we could get some great info from it.

Except I was doing everything I could to prevent the Ethos lynch, even when the top two wagons (the only two wagons, really) were Ethos and me, and I was directly putting myself at risk by trying to get people off the Ethos lynch.

Anyone puts themself at risk by trying to prevent a lynch. This is not a towntell. As I recall, a number of people (myself included) said "well let's let Yos talk for a bit now" when you replaced in. You weren't really in danger of being lynched over Ethos. You're a good enough player to know that you could argue your way out of the you vs. Ethos situation. He was acting crazy scummy.
