I think a variant using Mod Meta rather than Player Meta would be rather exciting.

Um, the ability was useless. I said that when I claimed it. There was really no way of getting a trustworthy result from it. I dunno why we were killed for it.

If you got a guilty on someone who didn't claim evil early then they're scum and you should murder them >.>

I was considering claiming my non-restricted unblockable cop ability d3 since I used shrug n2 buuut then I died that same night and was very very sad.

Yeah, and a couple of townies held back on claiming evil, even after I claimed our cop ability.

The statistical kills were meant to represent iconic methods of scumhunting. Nobody said they had to
work
or be
fair
or anything.

A theme completely based on these statistical kills would probably be hilarious. (The problem Seraphim had with trying to line up his kill targets would come back in full force - if a bunch of people have contradictory kill targets, eventually it'll come down to whether you accept the kill that's available or not.)

I'm a little ahead of you.~ Finding another batch of scummers to stylize may be a little difficult, but I can give it a try.~

I just think there are some players that are more...well-known? for their modding exploits/achievements than their player exploits.

Tar comes to mind but there are definitely some others.

I'd pre-in for a sequel.

I'm trying to envision these as actual religions now.

Ythillism is self-explanatory. DGBanity would have lots of crafting and creative works, but also show deference to a scumhunting AI that will someday be completed, gain sentience and unleash Its holy fire upon the wicked. Xylthixlsts would believe in a similar AI, but their religion would be less about having fun in the meantime and more about not doing anything stupid enough to deserve Its wrath. Orthodox Zorblagists would be hermits under (wi-fi equipped) bridges who never shave. Hooplaism would involve dancing naked around a bonfire and human sacrifices.

Vi WTF Faraday was a usurper not a pure TIGER come on we talked about this for a week.

Good game guys. Was rooting for the town 100%.
Elmo's role was my favorite. Support roles FTW.

I'd be down to help with that
but no, Vi, you can't be in the freaking game

A Vi role about Vi modding in a Vi game sounds like potential for borderline recursive abilities. I can feel my mind pretzeling now.

So, I've been lurking around and watching this thread since mid-May (in no small part to figure out where the Tarhalindur role was - I was disappointed when Parama flipped scum, SK is my favorite role after all). It finishes and I see this post.

And then I have a horrible idea.

MetaMafia II: Tarhalindur vs. Vi. Comodded by... Tarhalindur and Vi. (Needs a snappier title, of course. War of the Bastards?)

Would have to be a ways away, but... I'm already getting role ideas.
