Things I think were stupid: the neighbours must be "one and one" argument.

Things I was pretty sure were scum from the moment I lived through the night two before I died: Amrun, bella.

Not actually rereading Bella stopped me from sending the lynch her way, which is lucky, more than anything. This game highlighted how far out of meta I am these days. Well played all.

As to the intent of the setup, the purpose, as with frogs mafia 1, was to break the meta, the traditional "oh x means y" which leads to people making assumptions and hence breaking setups. I'm not a fan of player vs mod - I'd much rather have player vs player. Also sprinkled in a number of roles of which I am simply a huge fan and believe are underused - dayvig, tracker, joat are all examples of roles I really like for various reasons I won't get into here. I don't think the setup was as elegant and well-designed as frogs mafia 1, but I think it was probably better balanced over all. I have a bad habit of balancing games in favour of scum - here I think I may have overcompensated, though. The setup was light on townies because of all the weak power roles, which was an aspect I didn't like much - and indeed, I made a last minute change removing a weak power role for a townie.

The replacements were a bother. I dunno what it is - all the games I mod seem to have endless streams of site flakers.

I'm sorry for delays and lateness with the vote counts. Originally the plan was for one every 24/48 hours, but then the exam period hit (which also involved a fair bit of travel).

I'd have fakeclaimed Friendly neighbor like I wanted to to begin with. :( if I had just done that, I think I could have been victorious in LyLo.

QFT. Day one must have seriously sucked as a mod... but replacements were found, so good job.

I had fun this game. Amrun is probably right that we should have distanced more before the day when one of us was probably going to be lynched. I also think if we hadn't sent kunk to do the n1 kill, things would have turned out completely differently. Almost everyone thought he was town until CES tracked him.

Also, I was almost sure that this was godfather without a cop until scot flipped JOAT, and then it all made sense...

Oh, and CES: great bah post.

I wish I could've participated more in this game, because this looked like a good playerlist (and because it took me a long time to read the whole thread :mad: ). However, my reads were really bad and I think all of the scum played pretty well.

Regarding the setup, I think it was pretty well balanced. However, I think town may have been a little bit too strong and day 1 was too long imo (this may have resulted in the inactivity later in the game).

Also, @Scum - Why did you kill me?

About sums it up. Most of the stronger players already in were off course enough to not pose much of a threat, and the only reason that I think the Day 2 didn't end in a mislynch was CES's tracking. I didn't want you coming in and screwing over a pretty decent situation by reading myself correctly or giving a new perspective to the game that would invalidate some mislynch.

The best thing about the role was its open-endedness. I think if you gave it to four different people, they'd probably play it in four different ways.

As for a third, I'm not sure yet. I think the concept is played out, and I no longer have the driving urge I did when I ran the first one to skewer the common stupid setup one of ONE INFO ROLE ONE PROTECTIVE ROLE ONE KILLING ROLE - that meta is dying or dead. I have some other ideas but they need some real work on the setup and maybe some more flavour written in advance and all the shiney knobs and bells and whistles worked out so I can focus exclusively on the game itself - this game was too rushed in its preparation and that impacted the mechanical aspects of the modding.

I didnt make quicktopics. I mean, I don't honestly mind how people communicate at night if they have the option to. I've known scumgroups who speak exclusively over chat programs.

There was also no dead quicktopic - that was an oversight, I like dead quicktopics and it would have been good to provide a forum for dead people to discuss the game.
