I find it super weird that when most of the heat was (rightfully) on C-Worl the most you did was give him a FoS. Care to explain why you didn't think he warranted a vote?

Weird, I understand you want me to be more active, but I'm not the only one. And this is how I play the game. You can vote me if you think this is scummy? Or you could always ask me what I think about suchandsuch instead of just complaining about my lack of posting.

I considered there to be a significant risk of an early hammer. I had hoped we could get more out of the day. So I did not vote. My fear was based on Pine hammering town the same scummy way C-Worl did, followed by quickhammering himself. It proved justified.

Jase: You're back to playing town. From now on I'll try to ignore your occasional forays into Wtfland and stick with my town read on your slot. The way you chose to react to me saying we shouldn't analyse C-Worl's WIFOM confused the hell out of me, but I'll acknowledge now that it doesn't appear scum-motivated.

Really? I don't have stats to back me up, but that heightened sensitivity to how others are going to view a post/point seems more like a scumtell than a towntell to me. It certainly seems like a weak basis to make a 'Surprise[chkflip] is town' call from.

And, no, my reasoning is, good players don't feel the need to outright say "I'm a good player." I don't consider it a sign of scum, but bad play in general, and at the moment, as I don't really have a strong scum-read on anyone, aside from perhaps Zed(and I'd hesitate to try and make anything against him for fear of being called out for omgus), I have to follow what I do have.

And it wasn't scummy enough for me to change my vote, it just seemed kinda weird to promise content and then take a really easy route that didn't do much. This suggests you lean town on Setael. But you say you've only read pages 1-4 (during which the only GroupThink post was a vote on UnclePain (with no comment made), and this page. Where are you getting that townread from?

It's not a townread.

It's simply not a scumread. Hence, lack of approval. Very rarely is a null vote a winvote. Srill catchin' up. (Sorry, sidetracked. Just did a search for my name in all non-game areas. Interestingly enough, "Mastin", "mastin", and "mastin2" all yielded different results, much to my surprise. Didn't think Search was that sensitive.)

Alright, I'm going to be honest with you all:

Right now, I'm suffering a bit of Writer's Block for the early pages. I could theoretically skip 'em and work from the last five or so, but I'm kinda against that on principle. (I've seen far too many people make incorrect assumptions due to skipping vital information missing from what they read due to their skimming and skipping.) Meaning I'll have to work through it. (One possible way I can get around this is to just read and take notes on whatever I feel like, which would be, like, 10% of the posts rather than 80% or so that's normal. But me being the thorough guy I am, don't exactly like that approach.)

It'll delay my read, but I'll manage. Probably will have to pull an all-nighter to get it done, but I don't want to disappoint the mod. (Though, don't ask me to do it more than once. My hands are burning up right now and the rest of my body feels unnaturally warm, so I suspect I'm sick from one too many all-nighters elsewhere. )

It just, well...she seems so natural as scum, is bleeding off things which're tripping my alarms. I'm not sure if it's logic, gut, or a combination thereof which makes me suspicious of her. Something about her play just seems like scum.

Yet a paranoid feeling is in the back of my head, telling me, "It can't be that easy, Mastin. It couldn't be that obvious." And additionally to that (most likely gut) feeling, is the (most likely logical) feeling that, "I'm tunneling on her, hard."

I am toying with other ideas, though. Imaginality, Me=Weird, stuff like that.

I'll make sense of it eventually.
