One scum "confirmed innocent" is more powerful than two normal scums. Especially early in the game.bertrand wrote:when scum bandwagons scum they generally don't start a powerful wagon to get their partner lynched, they start a weaker one when the stronger one is going.
Therefore, if what you are saying is true (that scum never tries to lynch their partner), it's in the scum's best interest to lynch their partners. Your argument proves itself wrong.I am a stand-up dude of genuine flyness.-

I recently played a game which scum won by attacking each other. I agree that it shouldn't be a successful tactic, but it was, and still could be. You guys are knee-deep in WIFOM, and I suggest you drop this argument.
Oh, by the way, Akonas still hasn't claimed. Little pet peeve of mine, things like that slipping under the radar.-

And I'm not going to claim. In this game, there's really no reason to, as it won't really gain the town anything.FoS: Adele. Why are you pushing for a tell so much?A claim isn't going to be useful at this point. And if scum are supposed to kill certain people, then wouldn't having people claim let them know who to nightkill for a win? Seems kind of scummy to me.-

I wouldn't ask for a claim if I thought it was useless, let alone harmful, but to be honest, I requested one forAkonas wrote:I'm not going to claim. You're pretty near to being lynched and it's fairly standard to give people that opportunity. You don't want to take it? Okay.vote: Akonas-

All I've been doing that makes any of you think me scummy at all is throwing my vote around to generate conversation. And it certainly seems to have worked. Even if I get lynched, it certainly generates some material for the rest of you to go back and look at, and since I'm basically a lame-o townie...-

To be fair, he had every chance, and seemed to have made his mind up pretty irrevocably...Bertrand wrote:FoS Thok and StevieT92: Please let him claim before lynching.

He said, or at least the quote stated, that he was a "lame-o townie". It's always better to lynch a claimed townie if a better solution isn't available, as a power-role should not lie in the first place. It's presumeably "safer" to claim townie if you're a scum, as there is none to counter it; but more dangerous as it's "easier" to lynch a claimed townie - in the beginning at least.bertrand wrote:Thok wrote:Feh. So, I'll say we did the best thing at this point..-

Apologies for the delay - I'm in a play and the rehearsal schedule has been strict to say the least (I should be in one now ) which has restricted my time online.
The caption shifts one more time...
An erasor descends from the heavens, but it doesn't seem to work on the computer-generated Akonas. However, he accepts his fate and throw off his cape, revealing a rather fetching female form beneath. The Author, in a caption, wrote:Bertrand - 1 (Fuldu)
Akonas - 7 (TSAGod, Vitamin R, Nemesis, Pie is Good, Adele, StevieT92, Thok)
TSAGod - 1 (Akonas)

"I can't believe you all attacked me like this! Why do all the so-called good guys keep doing this? But since you have all decided upon my fate, I must be honourable and accept it."
She kneels down, draws her wakizashi, and silently commits seppeku for her sins to the town...
Akonas, Miko Miyazaki, Townie Lawful Stupid, Order of the Stick has been lynched.
It is now night. Get your choices in quickfast.
