I see where you're coming from about participation - I think accurate discussion is the best way to move the game forward. Still, would you favor discouraging lurking generally (through lynching lurkers on principle like this) over preserving the town's chances of winning in this specific game? Frankly, I'd rather aim for a higher chance at victory.

i would rather sacrifice one game, or ten games for that matter, to weed out the people who sign up and don't participate...

if they are lynched d1 or d2 each and every time then they will quit and that makes the game a lot more enjoyable...

i can appreciate people not sitting around all day, every day, posting in the game threads...but to sign up and and comment once every couple of weeks is f'n lame...and should be punished...

we aren't playing for money, i don't think...

how pro town can you be if you never provide any information, via posting in the game threads...

what if we took this one little game and expanded the lynch lurker attitude to other games we played in, thereby eliminating lurking as a playstyle..

I don't think all of those players should be modkilled. Gonzo, for example, had 34 posts in 650, which gives him the average number in a 20-person game. I think he needs replacing. Swinkee and Nanook, well...OK.

I think BJ's outburst was a lot worse than Zippy's, though a lot better from a literary standpoint. "Fairy f***ing godmother" was particularly vivid.

An answer from Halo would be nice. It depends all on how he tries to perform the modkills. There are many possibilites...
