I think the claim is genuine exactly for the reason that hider really doesn't fit the rainbow.
- If it's a mod given fakeclaim, then since they gave multicolored role name bit, I don't see why they would shaft a good fakeclaim by giving a role that doesn't fit
- If it is something scum came up with, I'd expect that the team which came up with the multicolor bit could do much better than hider

clarify with the Mod what happens if you're Roleblocked and the like. Why people are especially taken with the claim at all though is a bit beyond me; Hider is easy enough to fake (certainly for a few Nights) and Andrius is fairly generous with his provided fakeclaims.

(Oh, my role PM had a correction sent to me, specifically adding that I was aligned with the greek pantheon. I assumed being a greed goddess that I was anyway and never questioned or noticed that the line was missing. Combine that with SD's reaction to Charon's message and SD is def not town.)

Part of me wants to say that fakeclaim screwup by Andrius is more likely than regular Role PM screwup (Townie PM templates tend to get done early in the process and have the copy/paste consistent whereas fakeclaims get added and tinkered later. Or at least that was how it generally worked when we wo ked through the LOTR PMs). Scum PM is more likely to miss the Town wincon in the fakeclaim section than Town is to miss the wincon altogether.

Okay, guys. Given what we know about color and variables and ANDRIUS it is extremely unlikely that he left scum out in the cold in terms of color. Iris-rainbow doesn't say much unless you think Andrius thought it was too cute not to actually put in the game (in LOTR I emphasized giving the scum any sort of fake flavor, including pics and quote, that Town got genuine).

Ooba, you're welcome to take whatever side of the Mod-gives-weird-power-for-character thing you like, but Andrius knows how to play both sides of the WIFOM chain and I doubt he's afraid to do it with fakeclaims.

I can't believe I spent all that time talking about BS' claim. Seriously.

What do you mean? What does this have to do with what happened to SD? If anything, it would appear to suggest that your PM was associated with the modpost.
