There's quite a few ways... All Kats had to do was miscult once, and he's had a LOT of chances to miscult, especially including N1. Trying Benmage, AKR, Exilon, or iPie any night also would have done it. In addition to those, there is:

Shotty's n1 action... who knows what the hell it did? I'm not familiar with the "action scrambler" mechanic. And do we have Rayfrost's N1 and N2?

And then, there's been a BUNCH of chances to try to cult someone the same night that they died. Here's the full list:

Really, only 2-3 of those do I think would have been less likely than anyone else.

What's more, is if the CR misculted on a Tauren that died, such as Starbuck N1, then the CR would have lost Starbuck AND the N2 recruit.

Now, don't get me wrong. We very well should act as thought we are on cult lylo. But, we should not form our opinion on who the cult leader is based on how few or how many cult we think there are.

The main problem I have right now with GreyIce is having the exact same role as vezok, which strongly implies to me that a roleswap occurred. But I feel like if Kats is CR, the game is over tonight, whereas if GI is CR, we have another chance tomorrow.

Scenario: Vezok's fakeclaim implications brainmelt #4:

So going back to Day 3, somewhere in the ballpark of page 48, I guess we got vezok's fake lighting-rod claim, Sathoris's Tracker claim, and Arthas's roleblocker claim all in a pretty short burst right around each other.

I'm tempted to think vezok was culted by day 3, then. If vezok was culted by day 3, and roleswapped with GreyIce, then GreyIce, Arthas, and vezok would have had to have been the three scum by day 3, which would mean among the three, actually, would have to be the roleblocker.

This would imply that today, between Arthas and GreyIce, both are currently culted, and that between the two, one is the CR.

This has the following implications:

-Cult retains active abilities after being culted (since Vezok did get his results on Exilon from N3, which he then traded to GI).
-The purpose of the cross-claim of roleblock today is a chainsaw meant to give the cult a winning endgame.
-Both Arthas and GreyIce are totally nuts.
-This would make GreyIce, I think, the most likely candidate for CR.

This scenario rests on the following assumptions:
-Vezok's claim was a fakeclaim
-Vezok's fakeclaim was motivated from being culted
-Cult retains active abilities
-GreyIce and Vezok roleswapped

Thoughts?

As I said earlier, I just want to hear what the masons think about everything, because I'm starting to get a little bit dizzy.

Okay:
Her claim is substantially different than yours:

1) The cult can't kill her except by giving up a recruit. Deathwing can kill you without a similar penalty (you're not 1-shot bulletproof or something)

2) The effect of preventing a recruit on the cult is much more devastating than the effect of preventing a kill on the Serial Killer, so cult doctor is a much stronger role than normal doctor.
3) She hasn't posted much.
4) She hasn't had good arguments when she's posted.
5) Doctor is an obvious fakeclaim, and we don't have any proof like we do with you that a recruit was actually prevented.
6) It's a really convenient fakeclaim for the recruiter if they're tracked (I was PREVENTING this person's recruit, they CAN'T be scum)

Isn't that how it normally works? I was in a zombie themed cult game on this site before, and they could kill somebody or recruit somebody. I thought that was the normal mechanic.

Also, perhaps breadcrumbing occurred, but why would Kats bread-crumb being cult-immune? That's like saying, "haha, don't bother trying to cult me because I'm immune!"

At which point, we simply go to how much information the scum were provided before. Exilon did get caught because of his bad fake-claim, and pretty much all of it was available at that point in the game. But many people have seemed to think that the mod would provide the scum, particularly the cult-recruiter, with a fake-claim.

@iPie, Masons, what do you think of Arthas? Between Arthas and GreyIce, one of the two 100% has to be culted/cult-recruiter. Which of the two, if not both, do you think is more likely to be cult-aligned?
