Spectator pass is $25 for Thurs-Sunday. Sometimes if you only plan on going one day they'll give you a day pass for $10, not sure if they are doing that this year.

Also, the best ranked team thing is a technical limitation; normally that screen will show your best ranked 2v2, 3v3, and 4v4 team as well. It just happens that your best 1v1 team is yourself.

Which is kind of awkward.

So apparently placement matches count even if you leave under the normal 2 minute mark- I just got promoted to platinum because a diamond league guy didn't want to play a PvP :3

My first few games in this new seasons were all against "favored" opponents. It sucked balls. Yesterday was like around 2:7 against me...

At least I got promoted to silver in the placement match.

Funny, I used to suck at TP and beat TZ easily, but now it seems to be the opposite.

So based on JD's blorg and that recent "getting into starcraft" daily, I decided to try to organize and write about my gaming. The idea is about 2 hour daily sessions of playing and watching my replays, with some dedicated sessions to improving certains aspects, trying new things, or just plain laddering.

Today I managed to play 5 ladder games. The first two (TZ) were disastrous - the first my macro was horrid. The second the macro was a bit better, and I'm not quite sure what was the big losing point - unit composition? Overcommiting on the first attack?

The third game (TZ) was weird - base trades are always fun, and this one was really close - remember to have a building float to your army earlier when you base trade as terran. In retrospect, though, I should probably have tried to hold my ground after destroying his b/ling forces.

The fourth and fifth game (TT, TZ) were nothing to write home about, two wins against players with poor macro.

Message for the day: I really, REALLY need to learn to time my supply depots. I was getting supply blocked ALL THE FREAKING TIME, even on the winning games. I already got a pair of "supply building probes" hot keyed, anyone has other hints? At least I know what I will be practicing tomorrow.

ok your scv scout really doesn't need to leave until a stalker comes out. just make sure it cant get cornered.
oh and when you scout, i dont think you clicked on anything to know what it was.
I think your scouting scv was on an island. idk if this is to rescout or not?? better to put at watch tower maybe?

You absolutely needed to be sieged at the watch tower. you could have seen and probably would have owned that attack?
Stalkers don't cost us(P) that much. Especially on two bases(which you didnt know about) and we can get like 4 instantly whereas immortals take like 40 seconds for one(real time)

You're making another

super weak

push. The protoss literally needs almost the same exact amount of units as last time to kill all of your shit again.
I think your scan was in a super weird position, and only revealed a partial army, which im not totally sure you can take with instant reinforcements anyway.
When you scan maybe click on a zealot and stalker to see if they have blink/charge. You could have recognized zealot charge was up for the protoss and turned back. charge basically owns your weak little attack.
oh yeah zealot charge did indeed own the fuck out of that army. so few losses. wow.
he's basically seen what you're going to do, since you've done it twice, maybe is a good time to go with a few banshees since hes going robo/zealot? force an observer out, harrass some shit?

I would like to note I am SHOCKED this P doesnt have his gas running at his natural yet. whoa.
oh god zealots with charge just tank and kill your unit combo so quickly. after all your bio is dead there is nothing saving dem siege tanks. so more bio maybe?
all of your raxes have tech labs. throw some reactors on dem bitches so you can make more marines. You ended the game with 800 mins. 2 tech labs is cool really.
You also didnt take your gasses at your nat(well it was up a lot later than your opponents so less time it was up)

The idea is that this will force me to analyze my replays, allow me to get some feedback from you guys (<3), and motivate me to actually do the whole 3 matches a day thing.

BTW - expect much JD + PEG 2v2age tomorrow.
