Can't be that easy, LLD. That would be WAY too easy. Vi and CES should BOTH be better than that.

I've been making these connections for over a week now. I'm prepared for this.

P-Edit: UK, did you not give them the perfect opportnunity when you refused to read either of them day 1? Or when you helped Vi defend CES' actions as "meta"?

It's there... It's all there.

Furthermore, I enjoy how they have now both defended eachother indirectly and directly.

Vi has defended CES.

CES refuses to read my posts now that I have called Vi scum. Gee, I wonder.

LLD, I don't know what you're smoking, but I kind of like it.

In other news, I screwed around too much and don't have time to finish my epic multipost.
I blame it entirely on your ninja posts, LLD and UK.

Grey should not be lynched, and I still don't see a compelling reason to vote Seraphim or why he is connected to Rhinox. Has that Rhinox theory been around long?
GreyICE wrote:Most likely because I'm not a bounty hunter. Since the Red Dragon clan are not bounty hunters either it seems highly likely that bounties grant powers to town and town alone.
You are guessing all of this right? Like there is nothing in your role PM about a reason you don't have a bounty reward.
UncertainKitten wrote:@Jahudo: I was dumb, mostly. But at the time, I basically had only read the first part of his ISO and it bled town. Then I actually READ the game today. Yeah.
What about the earlier quote. You did say Grey looked suspicious, but not as much as Seraphim. Right? Was that being dumb, mostly? I still don't know if you had been thinking about something in particular there or what.

Yep, Jahudo! That's pure, unrefined setup speculation.

However it's not very far out. Bounty hunters get bonuses for capturing bounties. I am not a bounty hunter, ergo I get no bounties. This seems totally consistent to me. Moreover, no one has argued this... and we've had several softclaims so far. Because of this, I have a feeling bounties may be town-tilted. Now mislynches? Those aren't.

LLD: Fuck, I've been cheering this one 120% for pages. Make me happy, oh so very happy :D Nacho's speculation that Toasty is today's bounty is interesting (I was reading those posts as straight scum 'oh I have no IDEA who the bad guys are' and 'oh well it's not one of us' posts, but that actually makes sense).

Vi, I've flipped flopped on Grey more than once. It shouldn't be a shock at this point. To explain fully, my latest thoughts have been that Kdub makes some good points about Grey and I don't like lynching claimed investigation roles. My primary suspicion that Grey was changing his CES read for no discernible reason has been put on the back burner for now.

Lady Luck, can you point me in the direction of Rhinox-Seraphim buddy tells?

I think it should go without saying that the case is more interesting than the prelude you're putting up, since the latter depends on the former.

@Jahudo: It was dumb that I thought GI was town, even with the slight suspiciousness.

@Vi: You're ignoring motherfucking role information to vote GI. That's dumb or scum right there.

And it's stronger than Nacho's spec. That wouldn't be 100%.

GAWDAMMIT WHY'D YOU HAVE TO SEEM SO SCUM GREYICE?! If Seraphim flips town, I'm still going to be suspicious. And if it turns out you are scum, then that's one good fake-claim. I would be more helpful right now but I'm brain-dead atm.

I wouldn't say "ignoring" so much as "I have no idea what you're talking about and don't see a reason to blindly buy into it". Clearly the red text guarantee was overstated before. Clearly the difference is based on GreyICE's claim, through some unexplained rationale. As mentioned before, the relationship goes both ways. And let me show you how it looks from this direction.

*GreyICE ignores UK (actually, GreyICE has been nothing but supportive of UK all game)
*UK ignores GreyICE (again, no suspicion all game)
*UK is finally pushed into reading GreyICE and OMG GreyICE is scum! I SEE THE LIGHT!~ <L-1 vote>
*GreyICE says "lol, UK" and makes an unconfirmable claim
*UK says OMG GreyICE is Town! I SEE THE LIGHT!~ <unvote>

The sudden L-1 vote makes no sense except as a mechanism to force GreyICE to claim, and it seems planted.

Sudden L-1 Vote? Look, I know it's annoying to read walls of text, but my logic does more or less flow from that. Perhaps you should read that before you call an L-1 vote "sudden"?

Maybe you should just reread the game in general? Or maybe just stop being scum?

------
Lady Lambdadelta wrote:Jahudo, do you mind if I do that when I have a machine that can quote multiple posts and make long walls?
No hurry. Basically what I can gather is that its in Rhinox's posts and not so much Seraphim. Its how Rhinox is calling Seraphim town many times, and how you don't think he's adding it naturally. I was wondering if you can pick out each of those times he says it. Because right now I can see where he's said Sera is town as a part of saying something else, typically about the voters or Grey. Like he's adding new opinions instead of repeating the same point in an unnatural way.

Well, I was all ready to declare UK scum after her GreyICE vote, but then she immediately turns around after his claim and votes Seraphim, who I suspect as well. I'm not quite sure what to think about her anymore. I already thought GreyICE was probably town, and I guess I can accept UK/Nacho's explanation for now, pending further information.

If Nacho, UK, and Grey are all town, then Vi is either scum or extremely stubborn. I don't particularly like his reaction to Grey's claim and the subsequent fallout. Toasty's immediate reaction didn't give me very good vibes either.

Lots of things to speculate on at the moment, but having a couple flips will probably clear things up.
