It really has, hasn't it? You've never seen me as town though. I tend to scumhunt through patterns and motivations. I'm looking for things that tell me there's a team out there.

Believe it or not, I actually developed one of those feelings that Seraphim will flip town. It's hard to describe it, there's an entire pattern to wagons. LLD/Seraphim SHOULD be a town/scum race. There's almost no one (besides CES) on both wagons. But neither feels right. LLD was such an evidently bad wagon that I don't see any patterns of scum comitting. Similarly, Seraphim is developing one of those feelings of "inevitable town mislynches." There was no real attempts to kick suspicion to other candidates, in retrospect his posts are more

terrible

than

scummy

, and no one seems that interested in distancing themselves from him, interested in earning town cred by voting for him, there's just no real pattern around him.

Once I clicked that he was most likely going to flip town, not scum, the pattern I needed to see was Toasty. Toasty wanted to set up day 2s lynch off day 1s. If you review its ISO it's pretty terrible. Put the context down that Seraphim is likely town, then stick that filter over what he's been doing in the thread. Toasty as a Vi buddy actually is quite plausible if you look at the thread.

The other thing, and this is personal, is that I seem to come with an on/off switch. One game I'm so town that a cop guilty gets the goon claiming it lynched. Here I get wagoned to L-1. It's just like... buuhhhhhhh... believe me, when I figure it out, I'll be sure to do the "on" and not the "off."

Vi: I'll be honest, the motivations behind the posts seem scum. The sincerity seems raw town. I can fake sincerity well enough that I'm not overwhelmed by it, and once I clean it aside, the motivations aren't great. But yeah, Toasty is a LOT stronger of a read.

P.S. Nacho is obvtown Has been from the start, but I am EAGERLY AWAITING this case. I'm hoping like hell it will make this game make sense to me.

First order of business:
Seraphim versus LLD.

LLD is bleedingly town. Town to the extent that everytime I see a vote for her, I die a little inside. I know this from my reaction post. Now, it seems a lot of you missed it, but look at LLD's votepost and my votepost quoted side by side.

Now, when pulling a vote like that, I expected several things to happen.
1 (scum): Attack me for rolefishing. This was an unlikely reaction, but it would guarantee her to be scum and would demonstrate that she forgot she made that post in the first place, and thus she would get instant death.
2 (scum): Refuse to attack me completely. Scum, seeing a vote so blatantly transcribed from theirs, would naturally want to avoid any hypocrisy whatsoever. So, she would probably claim and go through all the motions etc.
3 (town): A good middle ground. Refuse to claim, attack me for not making a case. Perfect marks, and I'd have a good town read on her.

What she actually did at first confused the hell out of me. Instead of doing any of the above, she literally completely ignores my post. And when informed someone votes her, she goes "yeah, whatever" then continues acting Seraphim. This is a townie so completely absorbed in their tunnel that they don't give a fuck about anything else in the world, including survival. Any sort of scum know what the post that put them at L-1 looked like. Everyone. ESPECIALLY if they've locked themselves into a 1 versus 1; they're checking which townies are leaning which way and trying to figure out how to squirm out of it if they're getting a lot of attention. LLD's done none of this, and thus she's my strongest townread.

Next, Seraphim.
Of the two, Seraphim comes out looking considerably less townie. He only picks up on the LLD lynch after she wagons him, then ends up dropping the vote as soon as he can. In particular, his #30 and #33 seemed a lot like scum squirming around and trying to get out of the lynch. I also seriously don't believe that townSeraphim would say "guys I have role-related info pertaining to flavor" that early in the game; it would've made more sense for him to hold onto it until claims actually started bouncing around so he could pin scum to the wall. The incessant promises of content while posting in his damn song threads peeve me a bit, but strangely enough, they're giving me a tiny counterbalance to the scum I've seen in him so far. When I played scum with him, he didn't make promises he couldn't keep, he just lurked. The whole "hey guys, I'll make a big post, I promise" seems like the townie wanting to make a good post but not having the sheer willpower to do so (which is a feeling I am unfortunately familiar with). Overall, he still leans town.

tl;dr LLD is super town, Seraphim is normal town.
LLD is too badass to be scum.
Seraphim is being classic lazy.

The "curious thing" I hinted at in 507 was that someone is noticeably missing from this wagon analysis. I filled it into this quote.

So here we have UK ardently ignoring GreyICE and hyperclaiming no way of improving her read on him, and GreyICE putting a blind spot on UK.

My first thought was a Masonry. Everything makes sense that way.
