So, let's have a dialogue.

I've been thinking, during my trip, and just reading through the thread, trying to put pieces together. I'm going to post more concrete reasons later, why exactly I'm making this switch and this almost complete 180 from my original stance. I think I'm more frustrated over LLD's play than her actual alignment.

As an author who does a lot of character stuff, it's important to get the motivation. Scum, to decieve, town to find scum. Two motivations, generally. Running through my head, I could see some very unlikely possibilities and motivations for LLD for her actions, to try and figure out exactly what was going on. I think she's going through the exact same damn thing as me, a complete and utter frustration with another player.

Scumteam is GreyICE, Toasty, and Jahudo. Remember that I called this now.

Unvote
Vote: GreyICE

It's the perfect storm of conformity and original ideas. The other players are either visible enough or not visible enough, Jahudo and Toasty are right on the edge of the vision, a little blip you can't shake. GreyICE just happened to get targeted because of his initial push on me.

People are going to give me shit for this switch and I'm fully ready to assume those consequences.

Fate's style drew some great reactions.

Yeah, I'll make fun of you for that one.

Well I would if I didn't think you were in the quicktopic with the other two scum and thus know exactly how pants that read is.

Lessee, one gave the town information and drew reactions from people who were bothering to read what he wrote and those who were ignoring it or looking to jump on something scummy.

One gives the town naked votes and is active lurking. Pretty fucking big difference.

As for who you're scum with, looks like Vi. Third I don't know yet. If I had to bet, the list Antitown, ToastyToast, and CES. TBH, I'm thinking Antitown is probably town, as Antihero has vanished in general, so absence is probably a null tell, and Kats lurks pretty badly most of the time. Just too little content to be sure. Nacho is worth keeping an eye on, it's probably bad to be suspicious of players who are good at being quietly town when they're scum just because they are good at it, but I keep a better eye on them than someone who is pretty easy to read.

Definitely not LLD, Kitten, Tripod, Jahudo, or kdub, they all feel solid town. Rhinox I keep waffling on, a few things rub me wrong, but he just feels too sincere to be scum.

lol there's a few things wrong with me and Vi being scum that I think a quick reread will unveil. I dunno if Vi is scum or not(leaning quite heavily on not), but the idea of us being buddies together is laughable.

Hey, LLD, you talk about me attacking players who put pressure on me. Reread Grey in iso, there's a similar, if subtler, pattern.

I have my own ideas of who is scum with Seraphim.... useless until a flip occurs though.

What else would I be talking about? She voted for you and declared you scum, then as quickly as possible shifted her vote to me as soon as it looked like I had a viable wagon, then did an IoA train analysis from which she concluded nothing.

And from that I'm supposed to conclude you're not on a scumteam together? No.

@Vi: Generally it was the lack of valid defense, the bogus attacks on GI (at that point), and the whole "rolefishing" comment being the straw that broke the camel's back.

I'm getting kinda lost here. I did find half of Rhinox's post to be invalid. The one on Gray, I mean.

@Seraphim: Well, I like the use of motive. I think I need to take a closer look at Gray. As I said earlier, Jahudo was underwhelming me. I still have a Hmm out on Toasty I may or may not cash later.

@GI: Why didn't you call me out for kind of poking Jahudo earlier? Why aren't you calling Vi out for staring at him?

@LLD: What shit? What is bad about his current accusations?

I mean, it seemed like a logical switch, if not one that changed my opinion a whole lot without further data. But the reactions to it? They read Hook
Line
Sinker.

@GI: Ah, THERE'S the extra attack on Vi. Cool. So now where's mine for Jahudo suspicion?

Am I solid town now that I'm planning to question you after an ISO?

@LLD: Still waiting for forthcoming shit on Seraph's new reads. That said, the why not me thing is bugging me.

Anyway, need to poke around a bit before I decide how to proceed.

You'd think I'd be a bit more subtle about the whole "why not this guy tell" thing if I was scum, especially after doing it the first time.

Grey:
You attacked Toast, then switched to me as soon as you could.
You've been attacking me, but have almost entirely switched your focus to Vi, while keeping your vote on the viable wagon, me.
Now I'm attacking you again and we're(Vi and I) scumbuddies.

Bah, my brain is fried. I can't do a strong analysis. The first part of Grey's ISO looks solid and I don't get the suspicion. Maybe it's later stuff. I just can't think right now...

@GI: Bah, I've had games where I've rounded the scum up D1 and no one believed me. Granted, my persuasiveness sucked and I wasn't really *certain* about them. BUT STILL!

LLD knows how to play Mafia.

I can provide my own reasoning for why I'm not scum with Seraphim, but I think it'll be more interesting if Sera says it.

And is it waffling if I quit halfway through because I can't think straight? I think I'm really tired...HOPEFULLY I can get it done this weekend.
