Basically, if the

moderator

is posting more than you, there is a problem.

I was in a game once where the moderator had more posts than any of the players, twice as much as the guy in second place.

Seeing NS's reads on the last page made me wonder what planet they could originate from. Mars was not quite far out enough. I especially don't get how he can consider DGB and Andrius scum and hitogoroshi town, these reads together make no sense to me. I have to wonder if these reads are a smokescreen intended to confuse us. As for his nopoint vote, with both Fishy and NS on the wagon, the idea could be to discredit and kill the wagon. Except deadline is too close for that to make much sense.

The nopoint wagon is lame, the scum would be dumb to RB DTMaster, and kill LLD. They need to RB DTMaster, and kill DTMaster. The LLD... is almost as if the scum were trying to guess where DTMaster might have been hiding.

This is the best point I've seen in favor of nopoint actually being confirmed. If the scum were trying to kill DTMaster by killing who he was hiding behind, then he cannot have been blocked, and the confirmation is real. There is another explanation though that the scum were blocking him hoping for a false confirmation for one of them, which would be the least risky action for them too. Both leaving DTMaster unblocked or blocking and killing him could result in outed scum.

Then there is what NS said about Jack's gambit.

As much as I loathed Jack's gambit, I just can't see scum doing that.

I do not have a firm opinion on Jack at this time. As I've stated, his "gambits" are a nulltell as to his alignment. He does this as Town, he also does this as Mafia, he does this as third-party. He does this no matter his alignment. All I know for certain is that he is lying. Which, in his unique case, is a nulltell.

How do these statements match? And like I've said, I've seen Jack-scum do something so suicidally crazy that I could believe him doing anything as scum.

I don't think what Corvuus last said was anything special, it was the same Jack/AGM case all over again in even more excruciating detail. After both his predecessor and him have pushed for Jack's death, I have a hard time buying they could be scum together. Then there is Fishy and NS both voting nopoint, what DGB said about nopoint's potential confirmation, and NS contradicting his earlier opinion of Jack's gambit being a nulltell... and I reach the conclusion that either I'm wrong about Corvuus, or both of our wagons are probably on town.

Sorry, hito, but I completely disagree with this:

1) Scum defend townies all the time so as to get town cred when that townie is mislynched.

2) It's actually a common scum tactic to run someone up to a claim, then back off because "I believe them" and run SOMEONE ELSE up to a claim. Had Benmage not done his little protection bit, your role would have never been outed in the first place.

But mostly...

3) His protection bit is now completely nullified when HE JUST FUCKING HAMMERED ALMASTERGM, THE GUY HE'D BEEN STEADFASTLY PROTECTING.

I've seen Benmage play as town multiple times before. When he's town, you know it. People keep saying, "Benmage is aggressive, so he must be town," but this is like a grass snake compared to a rattlesnake. There's none of the abrasiveness, arrogance, and

obnoxiousness

confidence he usually has. The only caveat is that, although his self-vote is completely out of character for someone as bigheaded as town Benmage, his whole spiel with "I never ever ever do this unless it's a solemn promise that I'm town" is really below the belt if he's scum.
