Jahudo's iso doesn't bother me right now because its too early to be worried about IIOA. I'm not even sure if everyone's made serious posts yet. I usually look through isos later in the day/game to see if anyone is consistently providing IIOA rather than scumhunting. Right now, everyone is still working their way into the game.

I don't think this was a slip because you've been consistent in this opinion, but I don't understand how it encourages us to not look for scum. First of all, how do you propose that we would "look" for this random player unless they either claim or there is some sort of action that reveals them? Also, why is does that exclude looking for scum?

It shifts attention away from them by looking for someone who could be town. This is in contrast to a normal game of mafia, as every townie is looking for scum. I have already argued against it, but IF we were to look for a bounty, I would still want the game to carry on as usual. 1) The person should only claim if they have a terrible bounty power; that way we get a large benefit or 2) If there is no character reveal and people are looking for the bounty, then the player with the bounty on his head will probably be acting different. In other words, he or she would be attracting attention to themselves. Honestly, my plan for that is not very thought out, mainly because I would rather ignore the mechanic.

I want to know why you think Seraphim's post is waffling. How do those qualifiers lack conviction to you? I think differently.

"Actually" looks more like a "Yes" than a conditional term here, because nothing is being weighed against the actually that we can tell. "Somewhat" is just a degree of confidence which is understandable at this point. But "however" doesn't really look like anything one way or the other. I don't see any indication that it is conditionally applied to something that would let him retract his opinion. Therefore I don't know what Grey is on about calling it a waffle.

A more important question to ask is why Seraphim is more confident about his UK vote. @Seraphim?

I agree with Kdub that scum likely have a safeclaim, and even if they didn't there could still be characters that look bad and are town bounty hunters / look good and are scum. And I agree that Sera's speculation looks uncharacteristic, but I don't see how its suspicious. Maybe Sera knows some inside information. I think his talking looks innocent right now, not malicious or opportunistic in any way. So if he talks at some point, I guess that means he thinks its the right time to do so. Until then, I guess it isn't and like UK I don't see the need to press him about it.

my vote was "random" before. However means it was an afterthought, a contrast with my previous statement. Somewhat means not all the way, but still stronger than a random vote. Actually means it has transitioned to a more serious vote. I don't see any waffling. Jahudo lines it up pretty nice.
