What's the evidence against FD again? If there's anything real against him and not just a random bandwagon, I'll place my vote on him. Otherwise, it's probably going to stay on roadbird."No trees were harmed during the production of this post. However, several electrons were severely inconvenienced."-

Not voting for people you find "quite suspicious" doesn't seem to be a winning strategy. Anyway, Flying Dutchman has been run up quite a bit, so I think we'd all like to hear from him before we lynch him.mith wrote:I am quite suspicious of FD as I've mentioned, but I am not participating in this claim frenzy nonsense. Someone wake me up when we're ready to lynch someone. I am happy with my vote.
FD, you obviously know why I want to lynch you, but I believe there are other people who have complaints about the things you have said during the day. We'd all appreciate it if you addressed them before we decide to lynch you.
1. A couple I can think of off the top of my head: Have you seriously never seen / heard of a hider role?
2. Explain your pessimism:
3. Who are your scum buddies? Or, if you prefer, who do you think is scum?Flying Dutchman wrote:OK, this day will end in nothing anyway.
Unvote: armlx
Vote: VisMaior
4. I might have missed something; I'm sure I'm not the only one with reasons to vote for you.
4. This post is probably pretty rude, and I'll apologize for that later, I promise.-

Oh, come off it, mith. Either vote or don't and give your reasons, which I can't say I disagree with on the most pary, but please spare us the high and mighty routine.
I'mmainlyvoting for FD with CA's point 2 (good point!) in mind. Add to the fact that this is the flavor of the day, and it makes me even happier to be voting for the Dutchman.Show"I'm from Indiana. I know what you're thinking: Indiana... Mafia." - Jim Gaffigan

inHim, if you're referring to the eye rolling, I was responding to the "oh great website creator" bit which was quite uncalled for (had I acted "high and mighty" in the post where I mentioned him, fair enough, but I don't think any reasonable person could interpret that post as such, so I can only assume it was deliberate sarcasm intended to undermine whatever I had in mind).
If you're referring to my "reading comprehension" comment, the sentence I responded to seemed at least a little sarcastic. I felt justified in responding in kind. If he didn't intend it that way, then I apologize for being unnecessarily harsh. Though, if LyingBrian is going to address me as he did, I might as well act the part.
If you're referring to something else, you'll have to point me to it.-

Reading comprehension for you then! "Routine" would be something followed fairly regularly. My post was saying that I've felt a trickle of H&M, and that the eyeroll was kind of the topping.
I guess, though, if it was sarcasm, you're OK for now.Show"I'm from Indiana. I know what you're thinking: Indiana... Mafia." - Jim Gaffigan

Vote count:
1 mith (Mastermind of Sin)
7 Flying Dutchman (Commodore Amazing, inHimshallibe, PeaceBringer, Fritzler, PookyTheMagicalBear, armlx, Coron)
3 VisMaior (VitaminR, mith, Flying Dutchman)
1 RoadBird (EnderX)
2 armlx (Fuldu, Kerplunk)
1 LyingBrian (VisMaior)
not voting (4): Iammars, LyingBrian, RoadBird, Tyfo
10 to lynch.
Tyfo received the prod without responding to it or posting in the game. He will be replaced as of now and added to the "Great List of Unattentive Quitters". Mastermind of Sin has been warned before the game started and failed to participate nonetheless. He will be replaced as well and denied access to any future games."OH MY GOD, Cadmium! The main definition of routine is something regular, but usually when used in a phrase like "the high and mighty routine" it's just being used in the sense of:
So nyah.answers.com wrote:4.Slang.A particular kind of behavior or activity:Must you go into your hurt routine when you don't get your way?
I am still waiting to see what FD has to say. If all he says is a claim, I may have to vote him just on principles.-

it seems like we've got another bandwagon going in Flying Dutchman, but i think we should lynch either Flying Dutchman or VisMaior as further bandwagons will only lead us to reveal ALL our power roles...
@mith
do you have a "normal" D1 strategy?... as in do you hold to bandwagon & claim, or random bandwagon, or something else...
me, myself, & i, i'm pretty silly on D1 which is exactly what the "hi" post & the "oh great website creator?" post was...-

Please keep things in context.Commodore Amazing wrote:1. A couple I can think of off the top of my head: Have you seriously never seen / heard of a hider role?
No, I've never heard of the word 'hider' before. I've never seen any role called a 'hider' before. I think this is a silly reason for voting me..... One, a very large part of my games is themed, and wouldn't have this name in it, and two, what IF I was faking this? What if I know what a hider is but still ask? Does that make me scum?Flying Dutchman wrote:
Are we thinking "Cowardly Reporter" or "Commuter"? Since neither makes any sense in this setting.PeaceBringer wrote:vote flying dutchman-he is around long enough to know what a "hider" role is
mith called it "Claim frenzy nonsense", and I can't word it any better. I was hoping just to lynch someone randomly (Witch is basically the "nothing", because that sucks), without outing all our power roles, which would suck even more. Why VisMaior? Because of this post:2. Explain your pessimism:
Flying Dutchman wrote:OK, this day will end in nothing anyway.
VisMaior wrote:Hm, not good. Im a bad lynchee, really.
VisMaior seems suspicious enough to me. A 'hider' wouldn't be such a bad lynch now, would it?3. Who are your scum buddies? Or, if you prefer, who do you think is scum?
Looking at the last page you may well be.....4. I might have missed something; I'm sure I'm not the only one with reasons to vote for you.
It's not rude, it's to-the-point. Thanks for giving me something I can defend myself against. It's a lot more than I get from a lot of others.4. This post is probably pretty rude, and I'll apologize for that later, I promise.-
