My internet is fixed now, but at this stage I don't have anything to add, other than I really can't see where armlx thinks I'm scummy. Ok, so I posted the lynch vote yesterday, but like I explained before, I honestly didn't beleive it was the lynch vote. Other than that, I can't see anything I've done that could be constured as scummy.

I kinda believe Snap in that it probably was an accident, but I think the nonchalance that caused the fact that he didn't know certainly indicates a lack of concern over who we lynch.

Armlx, could you explain what you refer to when you say:
I realize I did jump on the wagon on Twomz yesterday too, but
Snap was doing stuff earlier that day.
(emphasis mine)
Shamrock wrote:What response do you want me to give? Despite the verbosity of Falcone's post, all he really said was talking about my *groan* comment, which I already responded to, and my lack of posting. My lack of posting is because, apparently unlike a lot of people on these forums, I don't post when I have nothing constructive to do or say.

Shamrock, it might be helpful if you point that out next time. To me, you seemed to be ignoring most of his post or unwilling to respond.

Jediknight, the masons didn't really discuss anything pertinent I'm afraid (at least not with my involvement). I was away on holiday with very limited access. I was only able to check in once during the night period. Maybe Shamrock and StrykkerVerde had a more productive discussion.

I would still like to see some of our lurkers step up and post. It shouldn't be too difficult to form an opinion on what happened yesterday.

Duly noted.

There wasn't much to discuss, really. But it helped verify Strykker's role.

For some reason, I'm getting scummy vibes from MineralX, but I can't quite put my finger on it. I'll re-read the thread.

Gotta hate an unproductive mason session. Guess there could be several ways to look at that...

Another piece that still makes me wonder, what is the deal with the hidden vote? And who replaced cat? Things that make me go hmm...
And I'm spent...

Dranko, do you realize that if the day ends on the deadline day you've set, Day two will have lasted 12 days? That seems really short to me. I think if you're impatient for activity you should send out prods instead of punishing those who
are
active.

Looking back over the Twomz lynch yesterday, Fritzler's behavior made me feel funny. His attitude once Twomz had been lynched (but not before day closed) wasn't very protownly. If I had checked in and realized we had lynched a doctor, my reaction would probably be more like Falcone's
than http://www.mafiascum.net/forum/viewtopi ... &start=214]Fritzler's[/url]. "You're lynched. Bye buddy." Isn't the remorseful response I'd expect out of a realization that we lynched a valuable power role.
Jedi wrote:Gotta hate an unproductive mason session.
Well, it did confirm Strykker's innocence. Also, Strykker had no way of knowing whether his two drinking buddies were pro-town. If I had a mason partner I knew was innocent, then I would be more willing to share my inner thoughts about the game with them. I wouldn't have the same security with two strangers.

About the lynching vote yesterday: I really hate it when someone puts on the Xth vote on someone, and then later claims he didn't realize it was the Xth vote. True, it's an easy mistake to make for a townie, but at the same time, it's also something you can easily get away with if you're scum. The town can't really know which case it is, because the only thing the person in question can say is: "Oops, sorry, won't happen again", and that doesn't really help us decide if he's scum or not. It's something that comes up almost every game, and it annoys me to no end.

Anyway, I still wait for armlx' explanation, and I also feel a little uncomfortable with jedi's last posts. He seems to be not trying hard to come up with useful analysis himself, and it's kind of strange that he expected the "masons" at the bar to come up with any great theories overnight.

 Sorry about that. Hopefully I'll be back to my more normal posting rate from now on.

Just reading through a thought occurred to me about StrykkerVerde's role. Why does the ability to choose two people per night to chat with make him innocent? I must be missing something here aren't I?

Actually, I've just seen this:
VitaminR wrote:I was in a mason group with StrykkerVerde and Shamrock last night.
Shamrock wrote:Oh, and yes, Strykker invited me.
That would appear to be conclusive then, although I would like to know if either of you got specific information about 'bars' or 'masons' when you were told you could chat with Strykker.

Paraphrasing Dranko's words so as not to modquote, yes, we were told we were a temporary mason group for the night.

I have no conclusive reason to doubt Strykker's roleclaim at this point.

I take back/clarify some of what I've said earler; Strykker's role doesn't actually confirm him innocent, but I at this point Il have no suspicion of him whatsoever because of last night's actions. He confirmed that he has the ability that he claimed he did, and while it is
possible
that an anti-town role would have an extra power like that, I find it amazingly unlikely.

I also forgot to do this last post.

Fritzler may have been not remorseful, but it is hard to tell if it's his playing style or scumminess.

Neverless, it's not exactly a bad action, though I would just prefer to coax another Snap joke from him.

Well, I can't find anything substantial against ProteinZ, so I guess it's just a gut feeling, but since everything else out there seems semi-random at best, I'll follow my gut feeling and keep my vote where it is.

Sorry Ive been gone for so long, but I was without access for a while and then I felt a little overwhelmed with the amount that had gone on here.

For what its worth, I think someone who jumped on that bandwagon on Twomz is scum, probably more than one someone. With that in mind I went through and looked at all of those peoples posts and I found one person who I believe is scum: armlx.

Take a look at this voting record
Vote Don Gaenato
Unvote

Vote StrykkerVerde
Vote Snap
Unvote, Vote LyingBrian
FOS everyone not voting Lying Brian
Unvote, Vote Twomz

He has been on multiple bandwagons with five different votes on the first day alone.

Then here is the text of his vote for Twomz, vote nine it should be noted
Sounds good to me. Any lynch with proof is better than no lynch.

Proof? What proof? The previous three votes on Twomz from BmQ, LB and Shamrock all say something along the lines of Twomz is shifty and better a lynch than no lynch. No proof has been added. I think you just wanted to try to justify your vote which put him on the brink of being lynched.

I'm all for putting some pressure on some of the people on the Twomz bandwagon, especially when they vote for someone with the great explanation: "No real specific reason, he just seemed scummy." (post 262)
