I pretty much agree with IS's sentiments. There is no need for scum to worry at this point. I'm fine just breezing through this and getting to the actual game.

You must be a puroresu observer, GMan. :)
I wonder if SB just made a scumslip.....dotdotdotdot

I disagree with 165. This is a good phase to watch for interactions. All of that can be used later once we get a couple'a wagons going. I will say, however, that I wasn't a fan of people attacking each other out the gate without any consensus/coordination.

@VP - my immediate reaction is to say yes, though I'll concede with some of my alts I might be fooling myself. But I am pretty sure I've played 2-3 games with her as the Thor account. Tell you what, do you promise if I produce one you'll put her off the immediate cut list and onto the list for later consideration? Agree to that and I'll dig stuff up. I'll also presume that by lack of linkage you're withdrawing the accusation that I liked BS because she supported me in attacking you. How was paranoia, and do you visit there often?

@Kise - I find scum are usually a little easier to spot in a free range environment where the patterns of acceptable behavior aren't dictated to them. What is your opinion of VP's plan and your preference for belt holder?

Kise is left clutching his face in agony as a drop toe hold sends him head first into the bottom turnbuckle!

I would have preferred if a princess like role or CONFIRMED mason were champ. Otherwise, if no one stepped up, I would not have minded if VPB was champ, actually. I like him overall, and even as scum I know he'd bus (lollololllol) and offer convincing opinions.

^I answered your questions in reverse order, Thor.

VPB, did someone hijack your account? Good to play with you again. You seem different than I remember you, is all.

@Thor - I didn't really look to see if you said it, but I take your word that you didn't because that's a dumb thing to lie about. Several people had said they wanted me dead and I probably mistakenly clumped you in that group because you were fighting down my proposal. In terms of taking BS off the list...it's not really up to me. Like I said, my list is just my suggestion. It's ultimately up to the town to let her through to the next round or not. I don't see that there is any harm in letting her go through if you're that set on it.

@Kise - lol, I don't know if I'm playing differently or not. I just play by my mood at the time. But yeah, it's been too long since I've been in a game with you so that could be it too.

Regarding your 162, Thor:
It can still be regarded as buddying. It's a scum game that's being referred to, after all. The thing is, unless BS has experience with your town play, then sure, she can say you lasted until the end as scum elsewhere, but here in this game (and considering if you're town), you now have the mafia working against you and, unlike the town, their intentions are to get you lynched/eliminated. Trust me on an out-of-game/MD note that it's a whole different ball game when you're against sincere townsfolk, and when you're against agenda-driven mafioso.

@VPB - Fair enough. (in your response to me) Oh g

@Kise - I appreciate the advice. This isn't my first rodeo though and if I'm not night killed I certainly have a habit of making it to endgame or just about in every game I've ever played, so I feel I'm aware of what it is to deal with and corral pressure and wagons.

@Gobots - you like the plan but choose to vote VPB? Need input on this action.

@vezo: Are you suggesting this entire phase (i.e. Royal Rumble) is RVS. If so, I think that's wildly off base.

Its not that different from IS' 165. Scott agreed with IS.
Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

I mean that because of the Royal Rumble were we got to kill players at random we won't have a RVS after this.

Well, masons should be confirmed town anyway. If they're not confirmed, then there needs to be a note of it in their PM, or the group needs to be renamed as neighbors. You know you're not in a confirmed masonry when the mod only tells you that you're a mason, and does not use any colors or specify alignments.

Have the rest of you decided on who you'd like to become champion? I'm picking KK.

Why KK, Kise? His plan was proven to be pretty flawed if that's what you're basing it on.

He was one of my first picks from the start, going with the popularity contest route. I saw his plan, but, yeah.. "a blind-folded, sleeping, stuck in the basement Stevie Wonder" could see the flaw due to the likelihood of mafia having a roleblocker.

Hell yeah, I'm patenting my own finishing moves now.

Catching up:
AurorusVox seems to be suffering from a pretty strong case of confirmation bias against VP. However, VP's #155 does read as scummy. Overall I don't think the rest of his play has been that bad.

Internet Stranger does have a point in that the Bulletproof prize isn't a fantastic boon for a townie. It's a better boon for someone with a useful power role. So that's the dilemma. Either town PR-hunts and hurts themselves in the long run for a narrow gain, or we treat this as a meta RVS and not really worry about it because we can always re-vote the champion later on.

I'm now strongly seeing the benefit of the latter option.
