Oookay, so we found out who our cop is already?

Even though it could be a mafia trick (though I doubt it, the guy seems to be just new) if there's a doc somewhere he should definitely protect him tonight.

It seems as though Grakens unprotectable claim may have helped the town unlike some people see it. If he is not lying, then the scum have to be crazy not to kill him. If he is scum, he will be exposed by not dying. By claiming unprotectable, he has prevented the doc from wasting the protection, so therefore if the mafia do not shoot him, the doc has a better chance of protecting correctly since he is selecting from a smaller set of people.

But if he hadn't claimed that, the mafia might not have tried to kill him because they figured the doc would protect him. Now they have no reason whatsoever not to.

I accept that you have a hunch - I get those too - but could you point out specifically what posts of Adele's gave you your hunch?

Otherwise it seems like you're just a mafia member thinking the town is stupid and trying to get us to quicklynch someone based on an unjustified assumption.

I re-read it and see what you mean, she does seem a little pushy and odd, but for now at least I'm inclined to believe it's just because of Graken's even stranger behavior.

While GC's last post does seem to be rather commanding and doesn't seem to bring anything new to the table, I don't think it's necessarily scummy, although I'm a bit uneasy about his throwing around of FOSes and refusal to vote.

BJ: What's the point of hinting at a role if you think it's "that obvious"? Just tell us so we're not confused and assume you're a different role than what you actually are. I don't really think you're scum either but you're being unnecessarily obscure.

In a re-read something huge came to me. I forgot Poirot = Xyre on MTGS. Behavior is fairly consistant with non-scumminess there, and that leaves Falcone.

For those of us who don't go to MGTS, could you clarify why exactly this clears Poirot?

Kinda. I was originally told I was vanilla, but then Halo pmed me Night 1 to tell me that I was now the cop. For some reason, I think that Graken was some kind of cop/doc hybrid and I was a backup, but inevitably, I've only gotten one investigation-last night, on Dodgy.

@ Dodgy-the only way that would work is if I'm paranoid/insane, which I doubt is the case in a small game without other cops.

I believe this. I, likewise, found out my role partway through the game (near the end of D1).

I don't believe the role because it seems ridiculously overpowered. We could simply run up every person in the town to one from lynch and get cop results on every one of them.

So far we've caught two mafiosos: Falcone and Dodgy. There is no evidence thus far of a SK or other anti-town group so I'm going to assume that there's just the mafia. That would mean that it's got three people (four would be ridiculous).

The person I'm most suspicious of ATM is Green Crayons. He didn't join either bandwagon

until we were already in twilight

If he's mafia, I assume the purpose of that is to be able to point to the vote and say "look, I was voting for him too!" when the fact that he was doesn't actually affect anything. I think he's our last scum; he's the only alive person who was on neither scum wagon and he has struck me as somewhat fishy all game.

-I know I'm not scum
-BJ is pretty clearly not scum
-Poirot isn't scum unless he's trying some sort of crazy suicidal gambit (I mean, he put the lynching vote on Falcone and claimed a guilty investigation on Dodgy)

It's possible that waprdragon or matjoeman could be scum, but again, I really think it's GC.

I'm surprised that Poirot survived the night, especially with our doc already gone, but that's WIFOM. Poirot, what was your investigation result?

I was told on Night One that I'm a Notary Republic and that everyone's official documentation papers were shredded by some evil people and it's my job to rediscover and commit to paper the role names of individuals.

Unlike Poirot, I've been given the ability to use my role every night, including on Night One. I've investigated Poirot, matjoeman and Shamrock in that order, starting on Night One.

I'm a Gunsmith. My investigations were:
N1 - Falcone - Gun
N2 - BJ - No Gun
N3 - GC - Gun

That is the reason I believed Falcone's claim (because it makes sense that that role might have a gun). I investigated BJ because a double-voting scum was too terrible a possibility to leave uncovered. And I investigated you because, well, you were the most suspicious.

And there's no reason you would possibly have a gun. Therefore, you're lying scum.

Mafia rolecop isn't an unheardof role. And if GC isn't a godfather, it'd make sense for him to have some other special ability to balance the mafia out.

What do I think? At least he's a balanced cop. It's pretty much impossible for both Shamrock and GC to be telling the truth, becuase I've never seen a game with three cop-esque roles. Among twelve people.

Here's the possibilities I'm seeing, in order of likelihood:

1. GC is a scum rolecop.
2. GC is scum that made a really lucky guess.
3. GC is town and his role has a gun for some freakish reason.
4. I'm some kind of random gunsmith.
5. The mod gave me the wrong result.

I'm guessing #1 for now, the others seem ridiculous. Let's just lynch GC and we'll find out.

Here's the possibilities I'm seeing, in order of likelihood:

I like how all of your possibilities make one major assumption: That you're innocent. There's the flaw to your entire list, that you're some how cleared to the town. You're not. In fact, I'm saying you're a scumbag.

I'm saying I'm innocent because I KNOW I'm innocent. Why bother including scenarios that I know are false?

I'm also surprised that nobody else has made any comment about Shamrock's incessant push for a lynch. And not just with these final posts, but from the very beginning of the day - even before everyone had shown up, namely the player who would help out my case, mat. Which leads me to believe that this game

isn't

as imbalanced as it appears on the surface, as Shamrock wants us to believe. Instead, Shamrock's a scum who has been trying to push a quick lynch for one reason or another - which is why I'm not all gun-ho about lynching me to proove Shamrock's scumminess. He probably has something up his sleeve to help balance out the game. Which is why I want him before myself.

I'm not usually this agressive, but I'm pushing for your lynch because

We found out that BJ was the double voter on day 2 (we could have known by looking at the vote count at the end of day 1 but I didn't notice that until it was pointed out).

As for Falcone, I believed he'd have a gun because "martyr" doesn't necessarily imply using a certain weapon, and it's also probably reasonable to assume that any killing role would have a gun.
