Werewolf is the easy townwagon.
Gorrad is the more challenging scumwagon.Paraphrasing a role PM takes seconds, fabricating a good fakeclaim takes an eternity.

Uh huh... so theoretically, you're saying if I say a random number then I am no longer 'Ignoring the fact an active effort to lynch is occurring'? And why do you thinking numbered lists is better then trying to force them to explain their stance? Do you speak in binary or do you just not like actual discussion?Yabba wrote:Korl, there are players who are being opaque, and I want to know that if people aren't following my wagon (and other people want to know their support for their wagon) that everyone is consciously dismissing the wagon or admitting their ambivalence, rather than just ignoring the fact that an active effort to lynch the person is occurring. I can't tell which they're doing without forcing them to say "Okay, what's your stance on the wagon? Do you just not care, or are you actively recognizing the arguments made for it and are dismissing the prospect of their lynch in an informed manner?"
That damn Pakistan, not pulling it's weight! *shakes fist* **nocase wrote:on the other hand, the lack of effort has been global.
**- Pakistan was randomly pulled form a hat holding a few dozen names of countries I thought sounded funny. I have nothing against Pakistan or it's people, who I'm sure are very nice and don't smell funny... Not like the people from Whales... Talk about not pulling your weight and smelling funny...It's not my job to be right, it's my job to be convincing.

It's null. I'm not going to make you testify against yourself, but fencesitting stances shouldn't buy Town cred really, hence why Weatherman's opinion drove me up the wall.nocase wrote:your meta on me really sucks. i don't always generate reads as quickly as you insist. in fact, i'd say my reads either flip-flop or fence-sit as often as they stick.
Again, I haven't seen anythinginHim wrote:What has werewolf done to let himself off the chain?scum motivatedfrom him that's a vast departure from his past play, so it's your burden of proof. Do you at least acknowledge that werewolf is at or headed towards Idiot status? Glance at his Wiki and notice that he has an EXTREME propensity to get D1/D2 lynched. Stack this game to his past meta. farside22 is directly arguing the opposite, but I think he's just like in his other games where the Town binned him.
Excuse me, but people were giving reasons on the lists. In a game where the dominant complaint is "FFS, why is nobody on my bandwagon?", it helps to have people just briefly give a reason why. If something sticks out now or in retrospect, then yeah, I'll probe. It makes perfect sense.Korl wrote:Uh huh... so theoretically, you're saying if I say a random number then I am no longer 'Ignoring the fact an active effort to lynch is occurring'? werewolf is an easy noobish player that is easy to lynch and melts under the slightest pressure like a popsicle in boiling water.
Meanwhile, we have an actual, VALUABLE scumbag as the alternate wagon.
Would the scum bus? No. Gorrad is too valuable.
Would the scum microwave on the popsicle? Yes. Anything but Gorrad.Paraphrasing a role PM takes seconds, fabricating a good fakeclaim takes an eternity.

Now I test lottery and gambling software as my job. It's funny how my life has turned out. Somewhere a Time Traveler is laughing madly-

Unvote, Vote: Gorrad.
Cancel the pertinent question I had for you, SpyreX.
We'll go with my complacency lynch since my numero uno wagon is stuck in the mud. Gorrad has had funky reactions with Chevre as well, I can flag these points of interest if need-be.yabbaguy ~ Winning without actually winning.

really? lets take a look. You gave 'reasons' for two out of four, DGB gave 'reasons' for 0 out of 4, Bob gave 'reasons' for 2(3 arguably) out of 4, farside 0 out of 4, Iam -3 out of 4,yabba wrote:Excuse me, but people were giving reasons on the lists. wow in the first 5 people to do your stupid little test you averaged a whole 10% of numbers provided with reasons. *claps* You are very excused sir, very excused.
Spy? totally agree with you there.DGB wrote:Meanwhile, we have an actual, VALUABLE scumbag as the alternate wagon.
Still better then what I would have boiled it down to. I'd have called you an out right liar. Whether you agree with WW's lynch or not, adding nothing, and I emphasis nothing, to the game while still participating in the 'popular vote' everytime is "directly scum-motivated". Add to the fact that he can't even keep track of people voting HIMSELF, and he isn't a lazy scum hunter, he's just plain anti-town.Yabba wrote:You're oversimplifying my argument. It's not my job to be right, it's my job to be convincing.

There is something to be said for it, in all honesty.player x is easy to lynch, therefore player x is town.
they could build monuments to my powers of deduction.
Not that I'd be sad at all to see WW go but after fighting tooth and nail for this sonsabitch being right is going to bring down the furies.-

WW getting secret night bullets if I'm wrong is fine. Depending on whom possesses said bullets chucklefaces could shoot at me.
If I'm right I hope I dont even have to give the list of shots.-

The only thing I've really seen in werewolf's favor is "he's too newb to be scum", which is such a silly argument, as crypto pointed out, that I don't even really want to seriously acknowledge it. I don't see why it's the wolf wagon that should concede here. Players like inHim are going to come and go, but it pisses me off that nocase (who else?) runs away at the drop of a hat. So the werewolf wagon is the silent majority and DGB and now yabba are bullying the players on it until they submit. Wonderful.
Even if I think Gorrad is a good compromise lynch, which I do, I don't like how the werewolf wagon has the rug pulled out from under it just because farside, Dutch, and/or I aren't here 24/7. Gorrad is being played up like he's some sort of monster Mafia player, and, although I'm sure he is, he isn't in this game. In this game he's just another lurker right along side of Kmd, Seraphim, and username as far as I'm concerned. I've got a wall post forthcoming, but I just wanted to get this off my chest.-

Whatever comment feels profoundly natural to me I will assign towncred to.
Sometimes that will be someone being in two minds, reading people is subtler than "you are only allowed to count people's firm stances for reading them".
It's not like there was a specific scum motivation for hypo-scum-nocase to blurt out suddenly a downgrade in his inHim townread and then post another side as an afterthought. Fence-sit is as much a buzzword as anything in this case.
Still waiting for RC.-
