You're smarter than that, Fate, and we both know it. Yes, if Empking is town, you could just get him lynched. That's a great plan for newbie scum in the newbie queue. But it's not a good long-term strategy, because Empking flipping town doesn't mean game over. To the contrary, it leaves you in a post-flip world where 1) you look really bad, seeing as you championed Empking-scum and 2) you'll be running dry (seeing as, until recently, you haven't done much that wasn't centered around Empking). You NEED your mislynch engine to be already running full-steam ahead on another target. That way, you can string the lynches along without letting anyone pause, think, and turn their suspicions somewhere you don't want them to be.

And that's just Empking-town world. Empking-scum world makes just as much sense. AND OH LOOK, here he is now to try and add a little credence to his buddy's wagon.
