According to Plato, the material world of the senses is an illusion. The real world, on the other hand, is the realm of Ideas which lies beyond the material world. With this view in mind, Plato claims that "only Ideas are real" (Flew 160). The material world, or the world of appearances, is constantly changing. The world of Ideas, however, never changes and is free from the limitations of time and space.

Perfection, basically. But that doesn't stop certain ideas from being...perfectly evil.

• 1. I have the final say in any form of dispute.
  2. Although I am the moderator, I am not infallible. Feel free to point out any mistake by PMing me or by a bolded message in thread
  3. The moderator lieks

  (more specifically, #00BF00 and #0000FF). Don't use them. This is a modkillable offense.
  4. All game-related communication between the mod and players STAY between that mod and that player. This is a modkillable offense.
  5. All game-related communication between players STAY in the thread
  unless specifically stated in the Role PMs
  . This is a modkillable offense.
  6. Falsifying the mod is a modkillable offense. I am the sole judge of whether I have been falsified or not.
  7. Small or invisible text as a secret communication is disallowed. Small text may be allowed if they are readable by the mod though.
  8. Loopholes are bad and pretty dick-ish. Modkills ensue.
  9. Modkills revert the player's role into a Neutral Survivor, then die therefore autolossing themselves the game.

On Voting, Activity and Deadlines

• 1. Please aim to post at least once a day. (The more the merrier!)
  2. V/LAs are to be announced in thread.
  3. Players who don't post in 48 hours are will be prodded. Players may request prods on a specific player via a bolded message in thread.
  4. A 'three strikes and you're out' rule on prods and replacement is enforced. That is, three prods and you're force replaced
  5. This game has two week deadlines at the beggining of each game day. Keep in mind that your mod is a busy man on a weird time slot(GMT +9) so I may be a little flexible on this. There will be deadline countdowns to help enforce this.
  6. Votes/Unvotes may be done either by bolding your Votes or using Vote tags like: VOTE: Vas. Usernames may be shortened but it has to be easily discernible.
  7. Unvotes are nice but not required.
  8. Lynches need a majority to go through. (That's
  half the number of living players
  +1). A
  No lynch
  needs 50% of the votes.
  9. A

  will happen at deadline without a full lynch majority.
  10. Once you're dead, please don't post.

Regarding encryption, I really don't see any problem with it. I don't think it's necessarily outside of the spirit of the game as it is player-to-player trickery, which

is

a part of Mafia anyway. Bad stuff are deliberate player-to-mod trickery(secret communication via invisitxt, loopholing), cheating(PMing fellow players) and stuff like that.

!!! Embarrasing ModFail Disaster Control !!!

Meanwhile...somewhere else.. A guy is sitting infront of his computer, doing internet stuff. Oblivious to what will happen. When suddenly, an angry ninja appears!

"Yo dude, yo betta check yo game homie. Sumthin wrong widdit.". The ninja smacks the guy on the head and he disappears as quickly as he came in.

"WTF." Angry ninja warnings should never be ignored. He checks his game. Checks his notes. He has also received a PM from the involved party. And then the realization. "OH MY GOD.". He smacks himself on the head for a second time and proceeds with damage control.

Soo, yeah. This is embarassing. Something should have happened. But it didn't. However it's easily fixed and shouldn't matter too much. The vote count has been reset, no votes above this is counted. Sorry bout that, I'm being a bit too absentminded as of late. I am also extending the deadline by 2 days to count for the time.

Thoughts from the Moderator:

I love swingy games. The games I have fond memories of are very swingy causing some emotional ups and downs, or incredibly unlikely blindsides or whatever. So I wanted my first theme to be a swingy game. The idea was I wanted all factions present in the game to be very powerful.

Town had Three confirmable roles(2 masons + treestump) and a semi-confirmable role in Chronopie. Town had the right idea and I really intended you guys to guess that Chrono was Town because of how his role works. Town also had a Bus driver which could end in embarrasing mafia on mafia kills, and Plum's role which could have been game changing if she was allowed to stick around. A role that can ask questions to the mod with 100% confirmation was powerful.. especially with the random stuff that kept happening in the game. Also, there was CES' role.. which I think he played the best he could. He was designed to buy Town 1 extra lynch.

The SK is powerful. If someone who rarely gets votes gets that role, it'll be hard to stop him. He's a bulletproof/lynchproof SK for cryin' out loud.

The Mafia had the advantage of being a three person scumteam in a game with an ungodly amount of killing roles, I believe is powerful in it's own right. Aurorus' role is there for daytalk communication(and random stuff he can do at night) which I think he has used well. I also gave the scum a Jailkeeper because... they are facing off against 2 roles that could kill them. AntB's role was designed to get some insane swing in the end. If they killed Leo or CES, he'd be as useless as a goon. However scum had lucked out and got Ghostlin's vig...and I'm very surprised that they even got Zodiark to enable his vig.

As for the game itself, I think what happened was Town got into a planning syndrome that underestimated the situation..and also some details escaped went over your heads. AntB claiming vig was a bizzare move from my point of view. There were three kills N2, Ghostlin was immune to doc protects.. Town's plan had a big gaping flaw: If it was true that AntB was a vig...where was the scum NK? Also, will a mod be insane enough to allow four deaths in one night? (I mean..I'm a little weird but 4 deaths a night in a mini is horribad. I'm surprised my reviewers allowed three deaths.). I personally thought that Town was owning this game.. everyone had mostly correct reads and I thought DB/Leo had already PoE'd scum into oblivion.
